Tonight a must win? Let’s go Jaguars!
No, the season doesn't end for 4 more months. But they do need a win. The Jags have had relatively long winning streaks the last two seasons, so 0-3 would be tough, but it's not like they couldn't be 6-3 by the time they get to mid-season. The schedule gets easier after week 4, we've talked about that all offseason. I think beating the tinhorns next week is more important than this game tonight, but 2-2 in 1 week's time would certainly be welcome!

Next week is a must win, this week isn't but it does hurt playoff chances as it would be another loss in conference to a potential wildcard.

This game determines the way our season goes imo. If we lose we continue to lose. If we dig deep with our backs against the wall and show grit and outwork the other team we go on another win streak.

When you look at position vs position we have the better roster imo.
I'd say if we lose, then Week 4 vs the Texans is a Must Win.

If we want to be technical about next week isn't a must win either.  We could win 13 straight and maybe get the one seed.  I'm just trying to be realistic, if we lose tonight our odds of making the playoffs drop to 10%
Let's see:

Houston: 2-1
tacks- 0-3
clots: 1-2

If the Jags lose tonight but beat Houston next week, they'll be one game back in the division. Season isn't over if they lose tonight but 0-3 looks very very bad.

What really sucks is that Houston just played horrible so they'll be hearing all week how bad they played..... Then they get the Jags!
It's a must only in the sense another bad loss confirms we aren't good. 10 wins is basically a lock for a playoff spot. And a good team could easily go 10-4 down the stretch with our remaining schedule (and may win the division too). But if the first two games weren't just a slow start and we truly aren't very good and not well coached, doesn't matter what happens. We likely won't make it to 10 wins no matter what happens.
well I know this for sure.  win or lose tonight I'm gonna win.    If jags pull off a mircle  upset i win the surrvior pool im in,and if jags lose i go 2-2 in the afc south pick em this week.

its down to me,and one other person in the pool. they took the bills. I had the chiefs.  2 got  elimantd yesterday takeing bucs, and raiders.   I would love  for us to win tonight,i wold win the pool then.

its a win win for me tonight,of course i want the jags to win  more then anything tonight.
We could lose to the Bills, Texans, and, Colts then win out and we would have had a great season. I'm good with 12-5
On the positive side, if we win tonight, we're playing to be the division leader next week.
It's just a matter of a few "don't"s.

Don't fumble at the goal line.

Don't give up the 80 yard TD.

Don't drop the 3rd down conversion.

Don't doink the easy field goal.

Don't let the QB scramble for the big 1st down.

Just do the little things, that's all this team needs to do.
Every game is a must win. With that said. Jaguars are fixing to get hot and reel off a streak of six straight wins.

Jags show up and puts up 30+ points. Game will still be close.
Weather outside right now is windy and just obnoxious drizzling rain. Looks like the rain should be mostly out of the area by kickoff but still wind around 10ish mph.

Not the worst conditions but far from ideal
The Jaguars just need to focus on beating the Bills rather than beating themselves.

I'm not really big on "would have, could have, should have", but they should be 2-0 right now rather than 0-2.  They beat themselves those first two games and that has to change.
Eh, to tell the truth, I'll be enjoying the game either way.. Grilling out burgers, having a few drinks and smokin' a J..

It doesn't get much better.
We ain't losing yall.
