Agreed. At first, I was stoked when I saw he was a free agent, then it dawned on me he came up in a cover 2 scheme. Can he exclusively play press man? You're placing down a $50 million bet.

This is an opportunity for us to get a free agent that is a proven player and will immediately make an impact on the defense. Let's face it, we are losing out on other qualified free agents because of this city not "sexy" enough for some free agents. This deal needs to happen.

You're right, it could be an issue. That's why we have to cast our line out and see what happens. Because we're getting shot down with too many other potential free agents. If it really is all about the money, maybe we can make him an offer that he can't refuse.

Money talks and you know what...runs marathons.


Make him the highest paid DB, and make him a Jaguar for the next 4 years.

I'd be thrilled to have him, if we get him then that's great, if we don't, I'd really like to land vh3 or Alexander.

He will def be signed before the draft, but it depends on the biding wars, will he want attention and get wined and dinned by a bunch of teams or will he sign to the first team to offer him a big contract and make one visit

No way could Dave offer Vernon 18 million per and then have the nerve to call Norman expensive. Maybe she's referencing another team.
