Bosa isn't the most lateral guy either... So no to him as well?
Toughest call for me would be if Jaylon Smith and Ramsey are both available to us.

I want one of these guys and think it would be a tough choice between the two.

Agreed!

Agreed. I'm leaning towards Ramsey right now but either would be great
Gimme Ramsey. Dude is gonna bring a attitude and edge to the defense
Ramsey.
1. Ramsey

2. Hargreaves

3. Jaylen Smith

Any of these 3 would be great additions and, barring an upset of Houston, Jags are basically guaranteed at least one will be available. If they land Gipson in free agency, Hargreaves and Smith may move ahead of Ramsey.

If we lose to Houston all three should be available. Only one that might be taken before we pick is Ramsey, probably at 4 or 5 but I doubt it.

I like Ramsey and Jaylon! One guy to keep an eye out for is Reggie Ragland. He's been flying up the boards the past month or so and would slide right into that MLB spot when Poz is done. Flat out beast.

Big difference between not the most lateral guy, and quite possibly the least lateral guy.

Think Trent Murphy from a few years back and take a few clicks off from that, and you have Nassib.

Still Jalen Jaguar 1st for me, then Myles Jack, then Jaylon Smith. Nitpicking them though really, any of the 3 would be good.

I'm still on the fence whether to have VH3 on the last of the top tier with those 3 or the top of the next tier with Ragland. Still quite good, but I think I lean a line of delineation between these two and the top.

Houston not going to Ramsey's side at all. They look like they're allergic to his side of the field.

In order

Ramsey because Talent/Need

VHIII

Smith

Jack
VH3 would be a luxury at this point.

With better pass rushers, our corners would be playing a lot better.

The second part is true. The reality is we're nowhere near set at CB. We could do with help at every level of the D.

I agree we need help but the most pressing need here is pass rusher.

I don't really see any pass rusher worth the pick we're going to have.

Agreed. Bosa would be the closest and I just don't see him worth the pick over Ramsey, Smith or Hargreaves

Yeah first round is pretty easy this year. Take the best defensive player available and don't look back.
Now that the Jags have secured their draft position, here is my latest mock off-season.

Free Agency:

1. Alex Mack - C - Browns - 8.5 Mil/Season - replaces Stefen Wisniewski and jumpstarts the Jags running game.

2. Mario Williams - DE - Bills - 10.5 Mil/Season - rotates with Odrick at big DE on passing downs.

3. Olivier Vernon - DE - Dolphins - 8.0 Mil/Season - rotates with Dante Fowler at the Leo position

4. Janoris Jenkins - CB - Rams - 8.0 Mil/Season - starting CB opposite Davon House with Colvin as nickel CB

Draft:

Rd 1(5): Jalen Ramsey - FS - FSU - starting FS and QB of the secondary

Rd 2(38): Sua Cravens - SS/OLB - USC - could play either SS or Otto OLB position

Rd 3(69): Vernon Butler - DT - La. Tech - 3 Tech DT in rotation

Rd 4(105): Xavien Howard - CB - Baylor - Big developmental CB

Rd 5(141): Antonio Morrison - ILB - Florida - nickel LB on passing downs

Rd 6(177): Kevin Byard - SS - MIddle Tennessee - Backup SS

Rd 6(193): Victor Ochi - DE/Leo - Stony Brook - backup developmental Leo

Rd 7(213): Ejiro Ederaine - OLB - Fresno State - backup LB - special teamer
