Tunsil or Hargreaves would be great. Aguayo in the 5th sounds good if he lasts there.
I would furious and way will Dave take a OT in this draft. I would bet my house on it that Dave will go defense as he should. OT is out of the question, which defender will he take in the 1st is the question
Assuming a pick between 10-15 like u stated, I like Jaylon Smith, Treadwell, Decker or Jack in that order,.
Top 5 pick would be Bosa. 5-10 could be  Ramsey or Hargreveas. 10-15 could be Myles Jack or Jaylon Smith.

Pretty much this, could also see nkemdiche in the 5-10 range. One player I would love to get is Sua Cravens out of USC, dude is an absolute baller. Plays Telvins position which were pretty set at. Could also play our SS role, but were also pretty set. If he does make it to second round we have to pick him.
What are you guys talking about? The Jaguars are picking last in 2016. Banana

Assuming that the Jags can win three more games in 2016, then they finish with a 5-11 record and select 9th in each round of the draft.

Free Agency:

1. Trumaine Johnson - CB - Rams - 6'2" 208 Lbs - 26 in 2016 - 8 Million / Year

Thru 7 games: 36 TT, 2 Ints, 9 PD, 1 Fub Rec.

Jags get a BIG CB and pair him with Davon House and Aaron Colvin as the starting 3 CBs, with Gratz and McCray as quality depth.

2. Taushan Gipson - FS - Browns - 5'11" - 205 Lbs - 26 in 2016 - 8 Million / Year

Thru 7 games - 5 played: 24 TT, 2 Ints 4 PD, - ankle injury has slowed him in the first half of the season.

Jags get their Centerfielder FS, with hands for the INT. Allows James Sample to move to SS with Jonathan Cyprien as his backup. Sample can move to FS in case of injury to Gipson.

3. Malik Jackson - DE - Broncos - 6'5" 295 Lbs - 26 in 2016 - 7 Million / Year

Thru 7 Games: 21 TT - 3.5 Sacks

Will rotate with Jared Odrick at Big DE, could also allow Odrick to rotate with Marks at 3 Tech DT

4. Nigel Bradham - OLB - Bills - 6'2" 241 Lbs - 27 in 2016 - 5 Million / Year

Bradham and Telvin Smith, two former FSU players will man the LBer position on 3rd down passing downs. Both have strong coverage skills and both are effective blitzing.

Bradham does not seem to fit the Rex Ryan Defense, where in 2014, he had 104 TT, 2.5 Sacks, and 1 Int.

5. Dwayne Allen - TE - Colts - 6'3" 265 Lbs - 26 in 2016 - 5 Million / Year

Will take over the blocking TE position for Marcedes Lewis and is an upgrade both in blocking and receiving to Lewis.

Total Free Agency Money Spent: 33 Million

Chris Clemons - DE - Save: 4 Million in 2016

Toby Gerhart - RB - Save: 3.5 Million in 2016

TRADE: Zane Beadles - OLG - Save: 5.5 Million in 2016

Total Savings: 13 Million

2016 College Draft:

Rd 1 (9): Carl Nassib - DE - Penn State - 6'7" 272 Lbs

Thru 9 Games - 42 TT - 14.5 Sacks - 18.5 TFL - 1 Int - 2 PD

While Joey Bosa gets all the accolades, Nassib is proving to be the best DE in the Big Ten in 2016.

Is Carl Nassib a 1 Year wonder, well that might be true of Joey Bosa too.

Jags get that dominate Pass Rush DE that can play the Big DE across from Dante Fowler, Jr on passing downs.

Rd 2 (41): Carl Lawson - DE - Auburn - 6'2" 255 Lbs

Could be as talented as Dante Fowler, Jr. Both share that quick twitch around the corner pass rush skill. While injured in 2014 with an ACL, in 2015, he injured his hip in the Louisville game, but against Ole Miss, he was a terror against Tunsil.

Rd 3 (73): Kyler Fackrell - Otto LB - 6'5" 250 Lbs

Thru 8 games - 53 TT, 11 TFL, 3 sacks, 10 QBH, 4 Fumb Rec. 2 FF

Hybrid DE/OLB with coverage skills as well as pass rush skills. Has some experience as MLB.

Rd 4 (109): James Connor - RB - Pittsburgh - 6'2" 250 Lbs

Tore his MCL (not ACL) in first game of the season. Power RB to take the place of Toby Gerhart. Big RB to compliment Yeldon in the RB Corps.

Rd 5 (145) Jonathan Williams - RB - Arkansas - 5'11" 223 Lbs

Injured his foot at the start of the 2015 college season. Out for the season. Williams takes the spot occupied by Bernard Pierce and completes the Jags rebuild of the RB Corps.

Rd 5 (155 - Projected Trade of zane Beadles): Tyler Marz - OT - Wisconsin - 6'7" 318 Lbs

Jags take a backup OT to compete for a roster spot.

Rd 6 (181): Taveze Calhoun - CB - Mississippi State - 6'1" 180 Lbs

Thru 7 Games: 26 TT, 4.5 TFL, 2 Ints

Long CB that will compete for the 5th CB spot pushing Nick Marshall to Safety.

Rd 6(190 - Trade of Josh Scobee): Byron Marshall - Slot WR / Kick Return Specialist - 5'9" 201 Lbs

Combination RB and WR that should push to win the punt return job.

Injured in 4th game of the season.

Rd 7 (217): Reggie Northrup - ILB - FSU - 6'1" 226 Lbs

Special Teams specialist. Should be able to backup all three LB spots

Thru 8 gamnes: 55 TT, 5 QBH

First off, let me thank you Stigma for giving us the gift of the dominate Pass Rush DE.

Secondly, with my modifications above I love your offseason plan.
I just don't see it with Jaylon Smith I'm afraid, he moves pretty well but I just don't see a top 20 pick when I watch him play, somethings missing.

My latest weekly mock draft:

I still expect the Jags to win 5 or 6 games and in this scenario draft 9th in each round.

Free Agency: The Jags will have close to 98 Million under the cap to spend on Free Agent contracts

1. Trumaine Johnson - CB - Rams - 6'2" 208 Lbs - 26 in 2016 - $8 Million/Yr

Thru 8 Games: 39 TT, 3 Ints, 12 PD

Pair Johnson opposite Davon House with Aaron Colvin at nickel with Gratz and McCray solid backup CBs

Big CB, the kind that Gus wants as his No. 1 playmaking CB. Solid tackler, Hands for the INT

2. Tashaun Gipson - FS - Browns - 5'11" 205 Lbs - 26 in 2016 - $8 Million/Yr

Thru 8 Games: 28 TT, 2 Ints, 4 PD - has had some ankle issues that have kept him out of a couple games

History of Big Plays via the INT. Centerfielder in Gus' defense

3. Dwayne Allen - TE - Colts - 6'3" 265 Lbs - 26 in 2016 - $6 Million/Yr

Thru 9 Games: 9 Rec - 1 TD

Down year for the Colts offense. Colts have Allen and Fleener going to Free Agency. The guess here is that Allen is allowed to test Free Agency, while Fleener is re-signed. Good Red Zone Target to couple with Julius Thomas as the Jags 2nd inline blocking TE.

4. Olivier Vernon - DE - Dolphins - 6'2" 275 Lbs - 26 in 2016 - $6 Million/Yr

Thru 8 Games: 20 TT - 2 Sacks, Vernon had double digit sacks in 2013, but not before or after. He is still a good rotational Leo DE that could be part of a 3rd Down Pass Rush Package.

5. Jaye Howard - DT - Chiefs - 6'3" 301 Lbs - 27 in 2016 - $6 Million/Yr

Thru 8 Games - 36 TT - 1.5 Sacks - Former Gator having a big year. Possibly bring him back to North Florida to rotate with Roy Miller at the NT spot, which he mans for the Chiefs.

6. Matt Forte - RB - Bears - 6'2" 218 Lbs - 30 in 2016 - $4 Million/Yr

Jags bring in Forte to help Yeldon grow as an all around RB. Forte can split carries with Yeldon and help with catches out of the backfield. This contract is really only for 2 years and it is aimed at helping the Jags get deep into the playoffs.

7. Bobby Massie - ORT - Cardinals - 6'6" 316 Lbs - $3 Million/Yr

The Jags need depth at the OT spot and Massie will hit the market as a mid-tier player that can provide depth for the Jags without costing a bunch of money.

8. Stefen Wisniewski - C - Jags - Resign for $4 Million/Yr

9. Ryan Davis - DT/DE - Jags - Resign for $3 Million/Yr

10. Clay Harbor - TE - Jags - Resign for $2 Million/Yr

Total outlay: 50 Million out of 98 Milion leaving 42 Million for draft choices and to rollover to 2017 for future contracts.

Prior to the draft, the Jags trade Zane Beadles to the Dolphins for a Rd 5 selection (Pick 150)

Draft:

Rd 1(9): Myles Jack - LB - UCLA - 6'1" 232 Lbs

Jack would come in for Poz on passing downs at the MLB position and hopefully take the spot permanently in 2017.

Rd 2 (40): Carl Lawson - DE (Leo) - Auburn - 6'2" 257 Lbs

Often injured but a special talent that is every bit the player that Dante Fowler Jr is but without the experience. If he comes out for this draft he will be a high Rd 2 pick.

Rd 3 (72): Jordan Jenkins - Otto LB - Georgia - 6'2" 253 Lbs

Jenkins started well but is slipping. He is the perfect fit at the SLB or Otto position, because he sets the edge well and can rush the passer. Myles Jacks would be more the coverage LB along with Telvin Smith.

Jags trade picks 108 (Rd 4) and 150 (Rd 5) for Pick 94 (Rd 3)

Rd 3 (94): James Conner - RB - Pittsburgh - 6'2" 250 Lbs

Jags get their short yardage power RB to pair with Yeldon and Forte.

Jags trade picks 144 (Rd 4) and 180 (rd 6) for Pick 121 (Rd 4)

Rd 4 (121): Karl Joseph - SS - West Virginia - 5'11" 197 Lbs

Jags grab a backup SS that has big play ability.

Rd 6 (192 - From Steelers for Scooby): Byron Marshall - RS - Slot WR - Oregon - 5'9" 202 Lbs

Return specialist for Punt Return and Kickoff Returns

Rd 7 (216): Malcolm Mitchell - WR - Georgia - 6'0" 195 Lbs

Can he regain his magic in the NFL? He has a lot of experience and a lot of talent. Is he broken? Can he heal totally. If so, then he can be a special talent as a WR for the Jags.

So the jags are pretty much picking a pass rusher with their first (again)?  amiright?

You always mock way too many injured players to the Jags.
Trumaine Johnson - Great addition, I completely agree

Tashaun Gipson - Given the choice between Gipson and Trevathan I'd choose Trevathan

Dwayne Allen - I really prefer Fleener. Even if that means 7 million a year

Oliver Vernon - A one year prove it deal only

Jaye Howard - Good signing. However I'd cut Miller if this deal happened

Still like Cordy Glenn at LT moving Joeckel to LG
Given the play of Peyton Manning this season, I do not think it is a stretch that 2015 is his last season playing for the Broncos.

In 2016, Peyton Manning has a cap figure of 21.5 Million.

Denver has four major Free Agents that they need to re-sign in 2016.

They are

1. Von Miller - OLB

2. Danny Trevathan - ILB

3. Brandon Marshall - ILB

4. Malik Jackson - DE

It appears that the Broncos will have something on the order of 22 Million under the cap

Add another 21.5 Million if they move away from Peyton Manning

Leaving close to 43.5 Million to resign these four players.

I think there is a very good chance that the Broncos will re-sign all four of these players from their All-Star Defense and none will make it to Free Agency.

So in Free Agency as well as during the regular season, the only ABILITY that really counts is AVAILABILITY

and I just don't think that Danny Trevathan will be available to the Jags, which is why he is not on my Free Agent Wish List.

Alot of it depends on Manning however trevathan might want to be a starter,he does not start for them,he technically is Marshalls back up. Also throw in hillman,Anderson, osweilor,Bruton,McManus, wolfe and who will be making probably a little over 15 million cumlative if not even more. Miller is gonna make bank so factor that in and we'll you're looking at 8 million(roughly)for trevathan,Marshall and Jackson.
Aguayo is going in the second round this year.  I'm calling it now and yes I'm dead serious.  Not to the Jags, but to somebody else.

The Broncos play a 3-4 Defense and Danny Trevathan and Brandon Marshall are the two starting ILB.

Both are the teams leading tacklers, with Marshall 63 TT and Trevathan 60 TT.

I believe Marshall is a RFA.

The Broncos are not going to let either one get away.

Why would Trevathan want to leave Denver?

Quote:Tunsil or Hargreaves would be great. Aguayo in the 5th sounds good if he lasts there.

I think Aguayo is worth a 4th. Solidify that position for years to come. We will find 5th round talent (Colvin, Telvin, Rashad Greene, D-Rod)
Colvin was a 4th round pick

He doesn't play every down though like Marshall does. Marshall is playing with a screw in his foot and gets more snaps than trevathan. Marshall is a RFA
