TE Coby Fleener 5 years 27.5 million ( 5.5 million avg) 13 million guaranteed

The types of moves that get a GM fired
Jags need a LT. Joeckle is a bust that moved up in the draft based on Manzeil's elusiveness.

LOL. I'm not good with contracts, I just made them up. What would you think is reasonable for those two players? Did you like the Gipson contract?
The Browns have a lot of money available in their 2016 Salary Cap. I can't see how the Browns are going to let Tashon Gipson get away. They tagged him last year and they most likely will tag him again.

Why do you want Coby Fleener? He isn't good.
Once Lewis is gone we will need a 2nd TE for our double TE sets. JT and Fleener would be two huge targets for Bortles.

I'd rather take a flyer on Dwayne Allen and hope that he shakes his injury bug, but that's just me. I was a big fan of Allen while he was at Clemson.

That's fine but Fleener isn't the guy. Especially not for 5 million per year,
I think the Colts will make a decision between Dwayne Allen and Coby Fleener and all my research suggests that the Colts will resign Dwyane Allen and allow Coby Fleener to walk.

I don't think Fleener will get Julius Thomas money but he might get Charles Clay type money.

I think something like 5 years 38 Mil or 7.6 Mil/year average
I think the Jags will allow Marcedes Lewis to walk in 2016.

In my latest mock draft, I have the Jags taking Henry Hunter - TE - Arkansas early in Rd 3.

Hunter is a good run blocker and a good pass catcher.

Free agents: Gipson (only 25) and Irvin (he and Fowler could generate good pas rush. He'll be 28, which is o.k.)

Draft: Rd. 1- Stanley or Tunsil. Move Luke to guard and backup left tackle until his contract expires.

2-7  BAP every round. Linebacker, fast receiver who won't get hurt every week, and cornerback are greatest needs after left tackle.

Do not discount the possibility that the Jags trade their Rd 1 pick to the Jets for Muhammed Wilkerson.

First off there is a Jets connection in the Jags front office in the person of former Jets GM John Idzik who drafted Wilkerson while with the Jets.

Second the Jets are in salary cap trouble and just can't afford to pay Wilkerson and they are not going to let him walk without getting something in return for him.

Over the past four years Wilkerson, who will turn 26 in October, has 24.5 Sacks and 238 Total tackles, which are incredible numbers for a 3-4 DE.

He truly is an elite talent, maybe not J.J. Watt good but potentially a double digit sack artist in the Jags defense.

Place him at LDE, next to Odrick, Marks and Fowler and the Jags have one of the best D-lines in all of football next to the Bills and Rams.

Coming to Florida, there is no state Income tax which means more money in his pocket and I think he could be signed for what the Bills paid Marcell Dareus which is 6 years - 108 Mil, averaging 18 Mil per season.

No other player in the Top 10 perhaps with the exception of Robert Nkemdiche of Ole Miss would have the kind of impact that Wilkerson might have.

The Jets have to deal him and they would like a Top 10 pick in return. If the Jags are picking between Picks 7 and 10, I think the Jags might pull the trigger on such a trade. Of course this trade would be made before the draft, probably during the Free Agent period.

I am not a big fan of trading a potentially high draft pick for Wilkerson...

If we somehow pick in the 25-32 range, whether it's through a miracle of some sort or by trading down, then maybe I would be more inclined in doing so.

It all depends on who is available to draft at that position, what type of talent and contribution do you think he will make...

We need a MLB that can cover. Poz was destroyed in coverage and has been a coverage liability for some time now.

Other ideas are CB or S

While I think Poz still has some value to add to the team, I would not mind at all if the Front Office went out and got a guy like Jaylon Smith from Notre Dame or Jalen Ramsey from FSU to upgrade the position. I know that Ramsey is listed as a DB, but I have a feeling that he is the prototype of what NFL LBs are going to eventually become.
Jalen Ramsey might be a corner so idk how good of a MLB he might be. Why not just play him at safety? He isn't Telvin 2 go FSU moved from safety to LB. Needs are S, CB,LB,and LT. So Ramsey, Hargreaves, Smith, and Tunsil/Stanley

Have you seen Ramsey play?

Ramsey would have to put on like 30 lbs. He is a corner/safety all the way.

Telvin Smith was never a safety at FSU.
