Well I for 1 am glad to see Blaine coming back. I still want to make sure he can't turn it around and become something worthwhile. I would hate letting him go and then the light turns on. I don't think he is good right now, but I do want to make sure of what we actually have. If the o-line can just slow the other team down, it sure would help.

Quote:Jacksonville Jaguars: Of Blaine Gabbert’s 121 passing yards, 98 have come from yards after the catch. That is 81% of his yards which is the highest rate in the league. The league average is 46.3%.

The new Jaguars Forum is a bit disappointing, since being a fan we were always allowed to voice our ideas / views without being restricted as long as we did not offend other members or break other rules. Lately threads are removed, or restricted from future posts but if it is a thread that doesnt conflict with the current franchise's views it is allowed to remain open. Sad outcome on freedom...
That being said nothing is going to turn Blaine Gabbert into Peyton Manning, we all know this but the team is going to keep him as the starter for the rest of the year regardless of his performance...
I think the owner only wants to kill the fan base until nobody shows up for the games in order to justify moving the team...

Ah, just like the plot of Major League.
Brad Meester plays the role of the veteran Jake Taylor.
Justin Blackmon is Ricky "Wild Thing" Vaughn
Marcedes Lewis would be the perfect Pedro Cerrano. He can block, but if required to catch passes, he performs as well as Cerrano hits a curve ball.
Unfortunately, that would make Shad Khan be Rachel Phelps. For every win, does the team get to take a piece of his mustache off?

Blaine adds some humor to the games. I've gone beyond frustration to just laughing out loud at how obnoxiously bad a lot of his throws are. This should be a good week.

Which thread are you speaking of? Lately, this new site has only been up for a few days.
So he likes wasting $30 million for no reason? He could move this team without wasting $30 million. I think some fans want to complain regardless of the facts.

You sound like me when I'm watching the Jaguars with Henne behind center. I have to laugh to keep from crying. At least with Gabbert in the team occasionally tries to win a game instead of Henne and his checkdown after checkdown and the knowlege that I'm watching a guy in Henne play that should be out of the league.

You just described Gabbert up above. Career YPA 5.51. That is unbelievably low.
