Where is the section to screen out the garbage time plays?
Quote:http://wp.advancednflstats.com/airYardsStats.php
hahahahah YES! Nice find!
Quote:It is.

When you find a site that lists how far the ball was thrown in the air during the non garbage time parts of games you'll have what you need.

For me, I can believe my eyes, and my eyes the last two weeks have been telling me that Henne's favorite target is the fullback.

Well, maybe you had your eyes closed in Gabbert's first game.  He had a YPA of 3.46 and yard per completion of 7.56.  Since 2009, Chad has never had a year average YPA under 6.24 with a high of 7.75.  Gabbert has never cracked a year average YPA of 6.  So your garbage time theory doesn't hold up.

If only they had stats that shows who the QB targets.

Don't worry, he'll dismiss this as well.

Give it up man.... Even when people throw stats in your face, you come back with something else. Give it a rest... They both suck. No matter who you may think is slightly better than the other, they both suck

Under the tab labeled no one cares.  For the Jags, you can almost count the entire game as garbage time.
I remain unconvinced that Oklahomie isn't Bekah Mills.

Only a vocal minority want Chad Henne to start.  And they'd probably like it if Derek Anderson came to this team.

But most people have realized Gabbert isn't going to make it at this time.  Unfortunate really.  I'd liked to have seen him work out.  I could only imagine at the possibilities if he showed he was as good as people thought he might be -- and we could draft Clowney.  But that ship has sailed.  Far far away.  You can't even see it anymore.  I think it's even gone over the edge of the world.

Oh and oklahomie, Blaine is behind Henne last year as well.  I have no doubt you will dismiss it, yet I'm still waiting for you to provide anything to back up your argument other than your flawed eyes.

Those stats don't say how far the ball was thrown and what happened to cause the stats to be that way.

The first KC game Gabbert tried to go down the field repeatedly only to have the ball dropped, the wrong route run, or plays called back on penalties.

Henne, on the other hand, had about 50 total passing yards between the first half of the Oakland and Seattle games, and it wasn't because of players around him failing, it was because of him staring down Shorts for a while then either taking a sack or dumping it off to the fullback.

You can keep arguing if you want, but all you need to do is look at the actual game to see that Henne is Checkdown Chad.

If you had to ball park it how many times would you say Henne dumped it off to the FB in the two games he's started?
I can't believe that people get so contentious about who is better.  They are both bad.  Is one slightly not as bad as the other?  Probably....should we care?  No.  Neither has given me any reason of wanting them on my team for next year.  We'd be better off with Matt Jones as QB.

Somewhere between 1 and 48.  But I might not have been watching close enough.

It had to be at least a hundred. Maybe two.

60% of the time, he checks down every time.

The stats also don't show wind direction, the phase of the moon, air temperature, position of the sun in relation to the quarterback, crow noise level, or position of jupiter in the sky.

Touche, I forgot about Jupiter.
At least now we have Gabbert back so we can stay winless and keep going for that number 1 pick.  I would rather play Gabbs than sign Tebow and win just enough games to put us out of reach for that 1st pick.
