Quote:Blanie it on the Henne
lol that's my fantasy football team name
Quote:You realize he sucks too right?

Our first 2 qbs in the line up likely won't make other teams as backups

I'll give the kid with no starts a chance until they bring in a real QB
Well for all the Gabbert supporters if you listen to Gus's press conference, he stated that Gabbert had to play loose and roll out to extend plays. He seemed to express he wanted Gabbert to go down field with his passes, and referenced his speed if a running lane were to open. So if that is the mind set and Gabbert dinks, dunks and slides 3yard in front of a defender there is no excuse and its time to move on!
I believe I stated last year. Malarkey said to Blaine to not take chances. And Blaine did exactly that. Then Henne did the opposite and was praised.

I am excited to see what Blaine can do with the chains off. And allowed to play his own style.
Quote:You haven't figured it out yet?  There was too much to fix this season, that's painfully obvious.

Say we drafted a QB, we'd have ended up ruining that QB too.  Like the Browns wasting their pick on Weeden, we'd be blowing it up and drafting yet another QB soon enough after and stayed bad.

The QBs this season were pure fodder.  No use wasting a good one.

Geno and EJ looked good to me. Just saying.
It'll be freaking ridiculous on this board if Gabbert actually plays well for several weeks.

Quote:After listening to Bradley's presser - I'd expect to see Gabbert take a few more shots downfield.  Sounds like he will be encouraged to do so...  (23 min.)
I just don't think they are going to get what they are looking for, Just my opinion but I have seen enough of him, sad thing is I would like to see, either henne keep starting to get consistence or try Stanzi, I can't for the life of me understand chance after chance they give this guy, Gus made fun of chad hitting meester in the back of the head, does anybody think he wouldn't have got hit in the head if he wouldn't have gotten pushed back like a doll. OMG I cant stand this. And the 6'5 250 lbs thing, I have seen QB's all over the league that are big and just can't do the job

Yea cause operation tank will have failed.
What if we tanked for Teddy and then he decided to stay in school. Do we tank again? You play to win the game!

So, skip making money to stay in school and possibly get injured? Okay.

Horrible Henne vs Garbage Gabbert.  Hmm choices choices

The best Hope is that Gabbert shows some signs of growth and become serviceable.

The Truth be told it does not matter who is playing QB. There isn't a QB in the NFL who would be successful playing with this line with no running game threat.

Another truth to be told, Jedd fisch should not be in the NFL....
I want to see Gabbert put this team on HIS back for once.  Lead this team to a victory.  I don't care if he completes 45 percent of his passes. I am looking for him to lead this team and win it.  It is time.

Some believe an education is well worth it.
I mean if we lose I am all for Teddy. Just I for one do not want us to tank for any potential player. No guarantee anyone will pan out.
Do you think the Jags keep Blaine as a back up if we draft Bridgewater?
No Blaine would start until Teddy was ready. Rodgers sat and look at him now.

No way that happens

But Rodgers went into a situation where he had the luxury of sitting. If we draft #1 overall and get Bridgewater he'll start.
I like the idea of Gabbert backing up Teddy.
