Kaepernick's bad games have still come with a far and away better o-line and defense on the field to prop him up than what Gabbert has ever had to work with.

Gabbert hands the ball off to MJD better than any QB in the league.

I have a feeling that BG is going to be Much Improved. How much remains to be seen. I'm hoping that he'll ipress to the point that we can draft other positions of dire need. Getting an premiere DE and two LBs is what I'm hoping for...

We are getting a QB high in the draft. I think this regardless of what BG does (realistically) this year. QB is of most dire need right now.

Sounds like Oklahomie. With a perfect O-line and HOF weapons Gabbert may eventually become average.

Freeman is terrible too. At least with Blaine we know we're going to lose...calls Vegas.

Inaccurate not an NFL talent. Good college QB but it ends there. Was successful in college because of the talent around him. This is going to be fun and my pat answer.

brent and herbie are right...why not give tebow a shot.  cant be any worse that what is out there.

He also hands it over to opposing defenses better than any other QB in the league. 

There is only one way Gabbert stays the starter next year.

 

He has to improve dramatically by seasons end.  He would have to be consistent and play well.  He would have to stop having these sub 200 yard passing games and show that he can fling the ball down field with success.  His production would have to go up by atleast 3 fold. 

 

I have very little fait of this happening but miracles do happen.
