Quote:Buccs team is by far the biggest competition for that #1 pick. Their best shot at winning is against Carolina since Cam Newton can't win games.
(How funny would it be that Carolina could end up with the #1 pick)
It is highly unlikely the Giants will go winless this season. But dont underestimate how bad a shape they are in this season. They have no RB right now, and Eli is not helping the team much at all. They could go winless, but they won't take teddy.
It wouldn't be funny at all if Carolina wound up with the top pick.

That is what I was thinking. But if you look at since Rivera/Newton got there, they start slow and finish fast. I could see that again.

The giants are going to win a few games and so will the steelers. We NEED the bucs to win!

Quote:OMG...be honest vagrantwade, how hard would you, you know, *explode* if the Jags pick teddy.
heck, that should go for any Jags fan.
You don't realize what a coup that will be for this organization if we do get him. It could be the difference between becoming a fixture and the top of the division for a decade and not.

Not even just quality of play, but it would put the Jaguars all over the media (and not in a negative way) as well as put people in the stands and get people from all over to watch our games.

Quote:Teddy is live on ESPN right now answering questions. Compares himself to Peyton Manning.lol damn. i admire the confidence. its cool when other people compare you peyton, but when you yourself do it, it gives yourself much added presure for such a tall task to accomplish, and even more so when you dont live up to your own self inflicted hype. i didnt watch the interview maybe the context is much different but i wouldve liked it if he just took the higher road and let his play determine the comparisons.

Well he's not saying he is as good as Peyton. He was asked who he compares himself to and he said Peyton because that's who he intentionally models his play style around.

Its one thing for us to go there.....but him?....
well, at the very least, I guess he's confident.

Oh, well in that context, it more reasonable.

They were also just asking him questions they received on Twitter. It wasn't a serious Q&A. He was answering some random kids twitter question.

I'm 28. So it would have been awkward to refer to myself as "kid".
I would have asked for shirtless pics.

Here is the order of teams we should be rooting for (not including the Jags, who we should always root for, but if they keep losing might as well hold out hope for that #1 pick)
Teams in Italics or bold grouped together means they affect us about equally.
Order:
1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
2. New York Giants
3. Pittsburgh Steelers
4. Chicago Bears
5. Detroit lions
6. Philadelphia Eagles
7. Carolina Panthers
8. Minnesota Vikings
9. Green Bay Packers
10. New Orleans Saints
11. Atlanta Falcons
12. Baltimore Ravens
13. Cincinnati Bengals
14. Miami Dolphins
15. New England Patriots
16. Dallas Cowboys
17. Washington Redskins
18. New York Jets
------------------------Negative Line
19. Buffalo Bills
20. Cleveland Browns
21. Oakland Raiders
22. Seattle Seahawks
23. St. Louis Rams
24. Arizona Cardinals
25. San Diego Chargers
26. San Francisco 49ers
27. Kansas City Chiefs
28. Denver Broncos
29. Tennessee Titans
30. Houston Texans

They play in a good division but they can easily beat the Panthers or something like that
