Do you just ignore the Gabbert fanboy posts now? Or the Manziel posts? Or Bortles posts?
Quote:nobody told me teddy will be the next peyton manning. or did we just trade the #1 pick for aaron rodgers?

What about the 11 out of 12 scouts that were mentioned earlier who said that Teddy deserves to go over Clowney?

Leave Bortles out of this.

You realize that all of Adam Schefter's sources are anonymous, right? He doesn't reveal where he's getting his information from.

The vast majority of quotes provided to journalists and media members are done anonymously (duh). So I guess you're skeptical or outright disbelieving of almost everything that's ever reported through sports news.
Well guys, good news. I got Teddy Bridgewater in Madden and he's a beast. This is the most sure sign and clear predictor of his NFL caliber. Let's start negotiating his contract today.

Adam Schefter predicts Geno Smith will be the first quarterback taken and four QBs will be taken in the next 12-15 picks after him... 31.5 hours before the first round begins.

Fraud! I'm never listening to another word he says!

nfl news is different from the nfl draft. the draft is like a game of poker. you should never reveal your hand voluntarily.

Anonymously saying who you think the #1 pick should be nine months before the draft is not "revealing your hand".

lol have you played poker?

I have. And I don't usually bluff 9 months before a game of it.

It's a scout speaking anonymously nine months before the draft. You have to be kidding. There is no consequence to it. David Caldwell isn't holding a press conference and saying that Bridgewater should be the #1 pick. They were off-hand comments made to an NFL Network employee who mentioned what he had heard in a Twitter conversation to a CBS journalist... La Canfora wasn't writing some big column about how Clowney sucks and Teddy's amazing and all this other junk that's probably going through your head.

yup youve never played poker

What exactly is the poker strategy behind anonymously saying you would take Teddy over Clowney? I really don't get what you are implying. Especially when discussing the #1 pick.
Trolls gonna troll.

Please. Enlighten us. The team picking first can do whatever they want. There is no advantage in hinting you will take one player over the other. That only helps the #2 team. If you are trying to get a trade up you make it seem like you could go either way.

lolwut?

So if Oakland was drafting second, hey have committed to Pryor, and really, really, want Clowney, you don't think hinting that the we like Clowney might be helpful in swapping picks and taking Bridgewater at #2?

"No advantage." ......really?
