The Wonderlic does in no way indicate or elude to on field intelligence.
Eventually we are going to find out that all of the Mariota hype was artificially pumped to the media in an effort to get the top team to pick him over Bridgewater, so Teddy would drop and a team could trade up for him.
Quote:Maybe he will be the first pick. It wont make it right though. You and your fan boys are going to be in for a rude awakening when either Tampa picks him or the Jags pass on him.
Not the right pick? What makes you so sure Maruota is the right pick?

Why would we be crushed? I am sure we get at least one of the top 3 picks.

Because there is a big drop off from Teddy to Mariota. Teddy is almost a perfect prospect, while Mariota has tremendous potential but many question marks.

If we get the 1st pick, which will be decicded the last week of the season, we will be drafting Teddy. There are no questions about that.
If Bridgewater was 6'4 225lbs we wouldn't even be debating a second qb

Speak for your self and a few others, I would be just fine if we were able to get Clowney and a QB in the 2nd. The drop off isn't as big as you think.

Its actually quite an enormous gap if you actually look at their film and the systems they play in.

LOL, I don't really listen to much you say. One day Blake Bortles is a scrub and the very next day you praise him and call him a legit day 1 starter, funny.

Didn't I say that I watched him some more? He looked quite scrubbish in the Louisville game, terrible footwork and inconsistent, in other games he looked much better. Much better in a pro system than Manziel or Mariota. Keep wallowing in your ignorance, I have not pity for folks like you that can't tell a spade from a hatchet.

The first one was right...

Bortles isn't a complete scrub, I think his pro potential may be higher than manziel and mariota just because he is familiar with the concepts, he has a better chance of picking up where he left off in school and growing off of that. He has some fundamental foot work issues that need serious correction but, I'll honest with you, I would take him over developmental projects like Manziel and Mariota.
so tmd and wiseman thinks bortles is a scrub? lolwut.
