Lol

You and all Bostonians don't know football at al.

AJ ran him out of bounds with superior body positioning and skill. It was BS.

I think what this debate illustrates, if anything, is how subjective PI calls are, and why they should be a flat yard based penalty rather than a spot foul

The DB can only impede a receiver’s path to the ball if he is also going after the ball. That's not what happened.

The ball was uncatchable, so tell us how it's a PI again? Bouye even got pushed at the end of the play. This crap is laughable
What are you talking about? They both have equal right to the football.

Sorry that you are delusional. It's okay. But if you think it's just us "whining" I guess you're ignoring the thousands of tweets from players, media and other fans alike.

I see it as he was running for the ball and was basically moved out of bounds PRIOR to having a chance to catch the ball. PI, clearly to me but we all know PI calls are subjective. Sometimes the most blatant ones are missed and others are questionable, at best. But to me, he didn't allow cooks to even attempt to catch the ball.

Sure. Cooks had a huge game against these "amazing" cornerbacks. No one even game Cooks a chance all week and he ended up torching them on some plays.
The Ref smiling in the end zone I get. Jack did slam White down after he crossed the goal line and White jumped up to retaliate. You can read the lips on the official, he says, 'I know, let it go." as he pushed White away. It's a de-escalation technique of body language to smile and commiserate with someone who feels victimized. The still shot doesn't tell that part of the story.

The rest of it I completely agree.
Yes the league loves the team that they made up Spygate, Deflategate, took draft picks, fined millions all in an attempt to derail them. Yes that's the team the league what's up on their pedestal.

That’s only if both players are trying to get to the ball. The defender can't impede the path if he isn't making and attempt to catch the ball.

Straight up. Do you profess that your team only committed one penalty in that game? If you do, how do you explain it seeing as there is video that shows the penalties being committed.
So how in your mind do you explain it? What other reason could there be but bias?

If you paid attention, or take a look back - it went down like this:

Cooks was matched up on a LB a few times including 31 of his yards receiving.  It was stupid by the Jags coaches to play that much zone. He had another 18 yd grab against zone between the LBs and DBs with Bouye playing too deep.

The rest was him beating AJ Bouye.  Bouye gave him far too much cushion. Coaches should have had him jamming at the line.  Once Gronk was out the coaches should have put Ramsey on Cooks instead. Not sure why they just let Bouye keep getting beat.

So he beat one "amazing CB" that was clearly being told to play "off."  Which was dumb.
Over the last 5 games against the pats (all patriot wins) opponents have had 35 accepted penalties for 390 yards while the pats have had 13 accepted penalties for 110 yards. Pretty much all that needs to be said.

Not sure if you noticed this but the Patriots are really good at limiting penalties and being disciplined. its been that way for years, check the records. Perks for being coached by the BEST coach in the league. Every NFL game has missed penalties and both teams get away with certain things sometimes.

In other words, if it were rigged the Vikings would have won.

Yes the Pats committed more than 1 and the Jags more than 6.

Yup. And it’s so super convenient that you start playing more “discipline” with home field advantage at stake and during the playoffs. Convenient.

True True.

I'm just saying, all I heard ALL last week was how Cooks and Amendola would be non-factors because of your amazing CBs, which they are, but Cooks had a great game with a sneaky 6 catches for 100 yards and 2 PI calls. He was huge in this game and I think he surprised a lot of people with this game.

My man. It wasn't officiated evenly. It just wasn't.

Jags were the least penalized secondary in the league and yet yesterday they got PI calls? It was a poorly officiated game. Whistle shouldn't have been blown dead on the Jack fumble recovery. PI calls were missed in the Jags favor. Pats had 1 penalty called on them all game. That's not even.

if that makes you feel better, sure bud. Sure.
I read somewhere that NE hasn’t been called for offensive holding in a playoff game since 2006 (!!!!!). Is that true? I won’t add to the discussion about the calls in this game cus I think it’s pretty obvious and nothing really needs to be added, but NO offensive holding in the playoffs since 2006?!? That can’t be right.

Heck they had at least three in this game alone that were uncalled.
It’s so awesome that after having to deal with losing to pats we have also have to deal with the flood of masshloes trolling us. Just awesome.
