If we hire a younger, offensive-minded coach who would be greatly helped by having an experienced defensive coordinator running that side of things, sure, in that capacity I'd love to have him on board. As a head coach? Nah. He's Marvin Lewis-tier. A good coach who'll string together some competent teams and be well-liked by his players, but not someone who's going to take an average team farther than it would carry itself on talent alone.

"Proves" may not be the right word but it's certainly not hard to connect the dots here.

Sorry if I don't agree.
Weird that this is an "official report" when Garafolo isn't saying anything that we aren't already discussing.

So much for cleaning house.

Well... technically... the front office is leaking the info that the coach staff is out or on their way out....

Whereas the firing of Coughlin/Caldwell will have to come from Khan, who likely isn't leaking anything to the media and just letting the season play out.

Not sure we'd get the rumor mill going on Coughlin on the way out.
However, I could see a scenario where Khan lets Coughlin stay, and he "cleans house" including Caldwell.

Not that I'd like it... but I could see it happening that way.

Still hoping Black Monday is Khan bringing the axe on everyone.

I see no logical connection. If Coughlin wanted Foles to still be in there, he could just fire Marrone now and name Foles the starter going forward.

If anything, it shows Marrone is paying for his decision to bench Minshew and losing a shot at the playoffs.
Yeah as it will be coming and hitting very hard!
Firing Marrone doesn't do anything if Coughlin isn't shown the door as well.

It wont matter who the HC is, if Coughlin is still here this ship is just going to keep going deeper and deeper underwater.
Tom, Dave, Doug, and Todd are gone. This year and last year alone is enough of a meltdown. Fowler Jr traded. Church was dropped. Gipson was dropped. Bortles signed and dropped a year later. Foles signed to a big contract with pressing needs for the offense. Smith leaves. Ramsey traded. QB switch within 4 weeks after team sits at 4-4.

All this alone within 2 years is enough to drive fans mad and confused. Aside from Allen, Ngakoue, Bouye, Harrison, Cooke, Lambo, Chark, Minshew, Linder, Fournette, Hayden, Jack, Smoot, and Bryan, the rest need to be blown up to save cap and replace.
We'll all find out after the clots game ...it's a 1:00 pm game
....hopefully with a mass exodus about 6:00 pm

Sure sounds like it judging from those comments, but hopefully Khan isn't that stupid.

There wont be a single half way decent HC candidate that's going to want to come here with this Foles mess and Coughlin looming around... Who in their right mind would want to be tied to them? This is going to be a mess.  Wallbash
Foles should go the Jalen route and demand to be traded. Make it loud and public. Next thing you know, the Bengals will have Foles as their new QB to replace the red rocket until they can draft their next QB.
Wow I could totally see us screwing up the offseason. It is a logical next step to crush the fans in the off season too. I mean why just kick down our enthusiasm 6 months of the year. There is another half of the year to crush my feelings.

I hope this same trash does not stick around.

There's no reason to conclude this much. In 2017, Coughlin pulled the team out from being deep underwater and they made it all the way to the AFCC. I don't think he's problem at all, and moreover, I don't see Khan parting with him.

Oh please, that team lived off the talent brought in before Coughlin and had little to no injuries that year, while basically being gifted the Division.. Coughlin had all of jack [BLEEP] to do with the fluke success of that season.

It doesn't take much sense to realize/see that this team/franchise has only gotten worse since 2017 and Coughlin is the main reason behind it. He's a cancer, plain and simple.

Today's NFL isn't an 80 year old's league anymore... He needs to go.. And he needs to go now..

Coughlin couldn't fire Marrone now without Shad signing off on it , especially when Coughlin is likely to be let go too.

Coughlin have the largest contract in team history to a QB who's one of the worst in the league. He also passed up MVP candidates at QB for a RB when we badly needed a QB.

You need to take the blinkers off
