Yeah I'd take that deal for sure.
Yan and number 9 to the Redskins seems fair

Delusional much?
I dont see anyway we dont get at least a 1st round pick for Yannick, he has just of good as if not better numbers then Clark who went for a 1st and a 3rd
Or this could all just be a leverage attempt in a new contract with the social media drama. Unless a team is giving a very generous offer the Jags can't pass up, Yannick likely stays with a long-term deal.

He didn't sign last year, he won't take a top deal if he gets the same elsewhere on the open market. I truly doubt he plays on the tag.

Then he doesn't play. It's that simple.
He tweeted out "More points. More opportunities" earlier today.

100% agree. This team was so bad that it limited the amount of pass rushing opportunities he had.

Well. Same can be said about that stellar [BLEEP] run defense too then right?

Because it felt like earlier on a lot of teams were just running it right up their buttholes at will and they literally took it to the tune of breaking horrible records that had been in place since at least the 1980's.

This defense last year gave up 4 games of 200+ yards (One of which was just 15 yards shy of seeing 300) on the ground and had several other games where teams finished over 100+ yards on the ground. Think they had a whopping 5 games where they held a team under 100 yards on the ground.

More time on the clock. More opportunities to score earlier.

Doing your [BLEEP] job as a defense against the run on 1st and 2nd down means more opportunities in obvious 3rd and long passing situations too. He played a role in that run defense being lack luster too at times. Can't sling [BLEEP] at one side of the ball, especially when it was carried by a rookie 6th RD pick with a new OC in comparison to having Wash for the 3rd or 4th year in a row.

I know the injuries didn't help on defense. But it's not like they were keeping [BLEEP] in front of them and acing their assignments on a weekly basis.

Josh Allen had less opportunities on the field as a rookie and seemed to maximize his opportunities more.

So are the players divas or does this team develop them? So can't develop talent but we can create players that hate the franchise.

Jeez

Going back even to Jimmy and Blackmon, we have trouble keeping guys focused.

I mean who was the last player who played a career with the Jags? That loved the team and City? There was Poz but i cant think of the last guy we drafted who was here for a career, and was a talent. We had Mercedes and while we all love him, was he ever elite or top 5 TE? Other than that.....

You think Mahomes is looking elsewhere?

Rashean Mathis, MJD, Darius, Garrard maybe....
Yan wants to play for a winning team.  Same as Ramsey did.  The Jaguars have a culture of losing and by keeping Marrone and Caldwell that culture isn't going to change.  Then you add in 2 home games in London which makes it like 10 away games, and it's no wonder good players want to get the hell out of here.

Khan had the opportunity to shake things up by doing the right thing by blowing things up this offseason. Get rid of the coaches and front office staff that have perpetuated this fraud on the Jaguars fans.

When players see that the good homegrown players like Ramsey and Yan aren't treated fairly, yet guys like Bortles are given huge contracts they deserve - it makes things even worse.

Just nothing goes right with this franchise.

Damn... now I feel bad lol
Heard on 1010 John Oesher believed the jags will tag and keep him. After further thought I think this is the best move. We can’t keep setting a precedent that players can just force their way out.

Also if I’m not mistaken, I think I read something in the new CBA that will vastly restrict players ability to hold out. Something along the lines of that they have to report to training camp within 5 days in order to receive an accrued season and mandatory fines if they hold out that can’t be waived by the team.
Quote: The latest rumor comes from Pro Football Network’s NFL insider Tony Pauline. In his latest mailbag, Pauline stated he has heard rumors regarding the Jaguars and Seattle Seahawks, with the Seahawks being the team pursuing Ngakoue.

“I’ve been told by a very good source that the Seahawks would like to acquire Yannick Ngakoue via trade,” Pauline said. “My sources tell me they believe compensation would include something like a second-round selection and possibly a situation where the Seahawks swap their pick in round one for the Jags pick in the second round.”

In this scenario the Jaguars would acquire one of the Seahawks’ second-round picks, either 59th or 64th overall, and the Jaguars would trade their second-round pick, 42nd overall, for the Seahawks’ first-round pick, 27th overall. This would give the Jaguars 11 total picks in the draft, including three in the first round.

That would be a good thing IMO. If in rebuild mode then he should be here as is young.

Mojo was the main one i could think of. He carried this team literally for a few years. Its a shame, we used to have those long term guys.
