People telling on themselves. Never ceases to amaze me.
Yeah, grow house in Queens Harbour and leaving your new born and baby mama for a new woman just scream "upstanding people". And the agent thing, yeah he has terrible representation.

Myron Rolle: Former All American for the Noles and S for the tacks: Rhodes Scholar
Alan Page: Hall of Fame DE for the Vikings and Bears, got his J.D. while playing and later served on the Minnesota State Supreme Court
However, statistics being what they are....it is estimated that 78 percent of NFL players wind up bankrupt or in financial distress after their career is over. Sitting out over 'disrespect' while having 17 million worth of low hanging fruit just SITTING there ripe for the picking isn't all that smart....

Still on that grow house bit that had absolutely zero to do with Telvin huh?
Predictable.

If he sits out, like I think he will, he will definitely be stupid. He seems to confuse fairness with reality of a CBA. The world isn't fair and the CBA definitely isn't fair as it protects some players and hurts others.
Ngakoue needs to fire his agent. And stop with the B.S. I don't think he'll sit out the year. He can't afford that.
I think he'll naturally ride out the entirety of training camp and probably the preseason but he'll sign in time to start by week one. His position and situation is not the same as LeVeon Bell's. And the fact that we've still thrown the most money at him should be all the answers he needs as far as his value is concerned.
No player should be sniffing $20M+ per year unless they're putting up Reggie White numbers. J.J Watt doesn't even make that yearly and he's literally one of the best to come around in decades. Even with the injuries he was able to sneak in a 16.0 sack season over the last four years. Double Ngakoue's numbers.
Ngakoue barely shows up in the tackle department. It's not even close. Go back and look at Reggie White's numbers. Or J.J Watt's numbers. They did EVERYTHING on defense. Ngakoue is a one trick pony asking for horse shires money. GTFO!
I think he did fire his agent. I believe I saw some reports of him not listening to his previous agent who was telling him to sign the deal the Jags gave him before last season.
There is principle and there is the real world. You generally can't control your pay and in a league governed by a CBA, you are bound to those rules. He seems to think the rules don't apply to him and he can get what he wants.
Now that we were able to trade Foles and his big contract moving forward, lets make a deal in the next few days to land a late first rounder for Yannick. I don't want a guy who isn't happy in a locker room with all those rookies.

FWIW, Yannick is in DC right now.

Swap him out for Chase Young somehow.

Yan and 9 for 2?

Weird, Reddit just said he was in Seattle like half an hour ago.

I would be running up to the podium personally for this deal. Wouldn't even blink.

What's he doing, running from city to city saying "Listen!!!! i'm worth 20 mill a year and 2 1st rounders, trade for me!!! trade for me bruh! PLEASE"
It's funny bcuz a lot of people thought the Jags were trippin and had no leverage. Now their position looks strong as heck. If Clowny ends up signing at around 17 a year or less then he will really be in a corner. He has no choice but to play here and play hard or his stock is really shot next year. I do worry a bit about him being a locker room cancer so I hope the team doesn't turn down any legitimate offers.

The way things are shaping up ....that could happen. A late first rounder and maybe third and he can hit the road,

If the Skins don't swap first's with us to get Yannick, I'd take Seattle's 1st rounder (27) and hope they'd throw in a 4th rounder this year or 3rd next year. Having Chase Young and Josh Allen as pass rushers would be a nice beginning to this re-build.

Incorrect. He changed agents in May of 2018.
We don't know exactly where Yan's desire to play elsewhere stems from.
We don't know what his agent is telling him. We don't know what he's telling his agent. We don't know who else may be in Yan's ear steering him one way or the other.
Has Yan ever said that he won't play if tagged? Or are we all just assuming that?
(I might have asked this earlier today...if so, oof)

Don't think he has come out and said it, but nothing would stop him from starting week 1-6 and then just holding out. He will get traded.
All i can say is trade the man. The pay Yan debacle is over and looks laughable in hindsight now. He doesnt want to be here, we offered the most money he will get from this league rn, and this clown still talking stupid and doesnt want to change his mind. Get a first for this dude or trade him for more weapons for minshew. He makes the saying young and dumb ring true.

Lol
Pot. Meet kettle.
Fowler pulled 3/48 from the Falcons. Clowney is still waiting on an offer and 'hasn't found the market he expected'. Wonder if the lure of more money than anyone else is offering *supposedly* is enough to sway his bruised and fragile ego, or is he really willing to stick to his guns?
