That's not entirely true.  They can leave by air or sea whenever they want.  They just can't leave by land which would require them to cross the border into Israel.

Unlike your boy Biden or your party, the border in Israel is shut off from Illegals going across.  Our border(s) should be just as strict.

Israel released Gaza to control their border with Egypt in 2005.  Egypt has allowed limited numbers of people to come and go, as has Israel.  However Gaza has never controlled its airspace nor its access to international waters.  Israel has blocked both of those continually since 2000.

So everything you said is wrong.
The Israeli Air Force is leveling Gaza City. Their ability to raze a particular building on a block is impressive.
The amount of collateral damage on both sides is depressing. If it's military on military it is what it is, but non-military targets are not okay. Sadly Hamas doesn't 'play fair' just as any terrorist groups don't so it's just tragic.

Newsmax is reporting that they're finally going to start flying Americans out of Israel tomorrow..

Unfortunately Israel is going to assert that they believed the given building was used by terrorists, and unless a war crimes prosecutor can prove that Israel had good intelligence indicating that no military people or assets were in the building, no charges will be brought.
I have seen so many videos like this from the Palestine side. As a father of a three year old boy. This absolutely broke me.

If that made you feel lots of stuff, you're functioning. Functioning at a high level. It's only if those feelings cause you withdraw from your family, job, or religious devotions that you'd be broken.

You're good man.  It made me feel stuff too.

I've not heard of us doing that for other crises, I wonder if it's legit? I would expect our tax dollars to actually fund that kind of intervention to protect our citizens, the idea that they might be sent to collections bothers me.
From what I've seen it is true and US airlines aren't sending in planes (although this may be changing). 1 report I saw was a plane went in and got any airline employees out and then sold whatever seats were left on the night it started. That was for all airlines.

Other report or 2 that flights to UAE are available and then you can immediately go to the US ... although you may need to thank Trump.

What I don't know is the citizenship status of these people being charged. The US allows dual citizenship and there are way too many people with that. If you have dual citizenship and you don't live in the US, I'd tell them they go to the back of the line and have to pay.

I'm not maternal at all but that's tough to watch. And anyone using white phosphorus against others should be taken to the public square and drawn and quartered. I can't even begin to imagine the pain.
Tomorrow could be a bad day across the world. It could push everyone into a guerrilla war in their own countries. At that point it will be impossible to stay neutral for most countries.

If stuff actually happens tomorrow, just another point to none of this just being random actions. All the illegal invasions in the EU and NA countries have brought armies into their countries.

This will feed the Nikki Haley surge I predict will be happening soon.
Just because a political leader calls out weak leadership and praises intelligent terror groups doesn't mean he's anti-Israel or Pro-Terrorism. Quick history lesson for you all. At one point, Adolf Hitler was on the cover of TIME Magazine and Winston Churchill was on record stating had Britian ever faced an economic crisis that they would be fortunate to have a mind such as Adolf Hitler to help them rise out of the economic challenges.

There's been plenty of reports of in-house issues in Israel. A lot of people want him out. Just like a lot of folks want Putin out in Russia. Again, you'll only hear that about one political leader in the mainstream narrative here because one is not our ally while the other is. Nobody wants to openly admit we've been making countless mistakes and grievous errors with tax dollars being pumped into Israel.

Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis stand zero chance at winning next year. It's a fool's errand and a pipe dream. The only way Trump loses the election next year is if he's literally taken out physically or it's blatantly rigged because there's NO [BLEEP] WAY IN HELL. NO WAY IN HELL! Any of you democrats and liberals on here can convince me that you're either:

A. Double dipping for Joe Biden
B. Found a strong substitute to replace him with in 2024

You have neither. And, I will say it again. I am going to vote Trump. Something I DID NOT DO in 2016 and 2020. Let's just hope we can [BLEEP] make it to 2024 before the world bottom's out for good.

I see you post a lot in the political section, usually very lengthy posts in which many other posters pretty much rebuke your statements, making you look pretty bad.  Perhaps I need to pay closer attention to your posts to see how inaccurate your statements are.  Unfortunately, I do have a FT job so I can't fact check all of your inaccuracies....

Could the worlds biggest parking lot by the end of the week.   Israel has released over 1,000 missiles to the Gaza Strip.  Makes one appreciate the critical importance of the Iron Dome.

LOL. That's the thing. When I do take my vacations I can actually think straight, read clearly and come to rational conclusions. The reality is that we have no perfect nor ideal candidate on either side to vote for.

However? My concerns lay here now in the states. Not sure why anybody would want DeSantis over Trump. Trump seems slightly more liberal when it comes to the alphabet soup community. I think we need to start chipping away at inflation, fixing these manufactured energy crisis', these geopolitical challenges and our southern border.

I think if Trump is in for four more years? He'll work towards getting most of that corrected. Again, he's not perfect. However, there's nobody on the left that makes me feel warm and fuzzy about voting for them as an Independent next year. The more they spew out into the mainstream, the more I am convinced they're all for and about the downfall of our Nation.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't, Mikesez.

The Iron Dome video was nuts. Impressive defense capabilities. It's amazing what the American Tax Payer can do around the world, just not around here in our own backyard I guess.

I was responding to JIB.  You are correct that since the attacks began Israel is not allowing anyone to leave, and neither is Egypt.  You are also correct that before the attacks, even though some people were allowed to come and go, most people in Gaza were never allowed to come and go.  So your first post was basically correct.  It's JIB's post that was wrong.  Then your post replying to me, you got more specific and your specifics are unfortunately wrong.  Every border has authorities on both sides.  The two authorities must both consent for that border to be open.  If one does not, it is closed.  The border crossing between Gaza and Egypt has not had an Israeli presence since 2005 when Israel withdrew their military from the strip.  Since 2006 when Hamas took over the strip, it has been open only sporadically, and only for very few people and no goods, because Egypt does not formally recognize Hamas.
Air Force One was spotted flying over Egypt about two hours ago. It's also been reported that Israeli soldiers are giving weapons to "settlers" in the area and telling them to begin moving into Palestine and taking over their homes. We're also in the process of sending a [BLEEP] ton of warheads to drop on them.

Can't wait to see what Sleepy Joe does over there. He has a chance to call for a ceasefire and ask for a resolution, as it's clear Gaza has taken it's beating enough by now. Or, he can be toppled over as a "leader" and undermined some more. We're fixing to see a very, very interesting 48 hours here. Iran now has to make a decision. Involve themselves directly or stand back and cower amongst your friends in the East.

Damn. May God have mercy on their souls over there. Especially for the already beaten, broken and scarred. I wish them all the very best, in this life and the next. Shameful that it has come down to this. And, after the dust eventually settles? We'll be left with more questions that we'll never have the answers to. It's 2023 folks. The human race has showed, once again, not much evolution as a species.
