That was rude. He just blew him off and said "yeah sure I'll take it consideration" shook his head and left.

Doug feels defeated. Press has some dirt on him at this point.
He's tired of being asked the same [BLEEP] box question after every loss. The press keeps pressing for Press to be fired or replaced.

That's all it is. I think he called a good game as well in this one and he's right, again, in this one?

We all saw it today. We left 14 points out there today and it was not because of coaching...

The press hasn’t been pressuring him to fire someone; they’re tryna get a damn straight answer on who’s responsible for this offense and its results. And Doug being the idiot he is decided to play middle school and giggle about it and act like it was a mystery. Because if there’s two things we know about him now it’s, 1. He doesn’t like accountability for his own actions. 2. He has this massive hang up with sticking with his guys. He did it in Philly and it is doing it now. If someone tells you who they are, you should believe them.

There are only a few plausible explanations for this:
1) Press has some sort of personal or vocational dirt on Doug
2) Press is Doug's illegitimate love child
3) #2 is the aforementioned dirt referenced in #1

Thats all i got.
Over/under on changes this week? Do we think we'll see any changes with staff or personnel?

What I would like to imagine Shad is Doing to Doug: He is all up in his face just screaming with spit coming out of his mouth and ripping into Doug.

What I think is happening: Shad is dong little.

No. Doug said today he’s not worried and I believe him. Khan has no cajones
If I performed as poorly as this coaching staff at my job, I would fully expect to be fired. Scherff should be benched because he is flat out horrible. How could Baalke keep him on the roster at such a high salary? Start benching players and see what the rookies can do. The season is over, so might as well get them some playing time.
Jags are getting out coached. I don’t understand what happened to the 2022 offensive play caller.

He’s MIA

The QB regressed. That's what happend.
Just bin them all including baalke
I think Doug is a dead man walking, and he knows it. This season isn't going to be saved, and either sooner or at the end of the year, he will be fired. I also think Trent Baalke is a dead man walking. Whether he is smart enough to know that, is hard to say. He may think he can smooth talk Shad into keeping him and just hiring a new coaching staff. I sure hope that doesn't happen. Baalke needs to go just as much as Doug does. It's time for a change. I'll keep saying it until I hear a better idea, but I'd love to see us fire Baalke and hire Rick Spielman as the new GM.

Cooter went to the Colts and since then, Trevor has regressed.

If one goes they should all go.  Don't mix the bad ingredients with the new stew.

Agreed. This experiment is almost over. I wouldn't mind Rick Spielman in a VP of Football Operations, followed by the hiring of a GM like Houston's Liipfert or Detroit's Agnew.

With the idea of Slowik or Johnson taking over as the HC with them also still calling the offense and fixing Lawrence along the way.

I repeat, I do NOT want Belichick here unless it's a consultant position for primarily the defensive side of the football and offensive line.

He's the OC at Indy.
I'd take him as our new HC.  He knows how to work with Trevor, obviously.

It's funny you throw out these names like these guys really want anything to do with this organization. Majority of these guys come from winning franchises - money dont make them move from an establishment place and come to a disaster place.

The fact of the matter is that the Jacksonville job is not an attractive destination.

I doubt those front offices or coaches come here. First of all we have destroyed our roster with ridiculous signings and we have a QB that is not a good player. No one is taking this job besides guys like Baalke or some other retread.

Bad take in my opinion. For a number of reasons.

1. It's Florida, it's a tax free state, and, we're fixing to get a brand new Stadium.

2. It's Shad Khan, one of the most easy going, money spending owners in the NFL that is beyond patient.

3. It's 1 of 32 rare NFL jobs, and, the difference in pay between being a coordinator and head coach is astronomically different.

4. Those reasons you cited above? It gives the next group of hires even more freedom, flexibility and patience to fix or tweak some of the mistakes Baalke and Pederson have made.

You don't think Vrabel, Belichick or Carroll wouldn't be interested in coming to Jacksonville to takeover this team and try and fix it? Guys are competitive man. Winners want to fix things. Winners want to turn things around. Again, your take is pretty bad in my opinion.

Cleveland is doing better now.
Detroit is doing better now.
Washington is doing better now.
Cincinnati is doing better now.

You think any of those four cities were "attractive" or "luxurious" for their current coaches and staffs at the time they were bought or brought on? All of those locations were hell holes for quite some time.
