I think 2-2 is doable.  The Jags will essentially have a new defense and a new running game.  Bortles should have a much clearer command of the offense, with improved OL play and a better running game.  The D will have a serious talent upgrade.  I don't expect miracles at first, but just getting 1 extra turnover or 1 extra defensive stop would go a long way toward winning games.  If the offense can have 1 less turnover or 1 less punt that will help a lot too.  Remember they were in a lot of games last year, generally only 1 or 2 plays from winning many of them.

Logically both Prince and Gibson are learning a brand new system as well as any rookie db we pick up.


So even if we start 1-3 I dont think this season will be a wash.

On topic, I don't care how unrealistic winning the GB game is, but it ATLEAST better be close, for Gus's sake.


I would say he would be fired on the field in the event of a blowout, but this being Jacksonville and all, they'd probably give him an extension.

After seeing the schedule I expect 5-6 wins (7 at best) with Gus as the HC.

It's all on Gus now. He has a talented roster plus 7 more draft picks.

After 3 losing seasons Gus hasn't even improved at making excuses


I am just hoping that there is enough talent to get this team close to .500
