Quote:3-1 Should be the goal not 2-2.

The pessimist's goal is not to be 1-3.

The extreme pessimist's goal is not to be 0-4.
Bradley can get to 2-2 easily prior to the bye week !!

@ Jets - loss

vs Bucs - win

vs Bengals - loss

@ Falcons - win (keep the starters in)

E-A-S-Y ->  2 WINS & 2 LOSSES

Where did you even find this, unless you made it yourself. Lol

On Topic: We definitely should be at 2-2 before the bye.  We really should be 3-1 because SD is nothing to fear, except in Cali because of our own history; and based on how we played Bal last season, an improved roster with more veteran chemistry should do the trick this year.  So thats 2 and the Clots game is a must win divisional game hands down.  If not to show our new face as a franchise, to show the media and all other A. Luck/Colts believers that we are contenders to take the reign of this division.  Bradley has to drill this in their head this offseason and get the players as a whole to that standard of belief about this division if he wants to lead this team going forward.

Do you really think that GM Dave Caldwell will fire Head Coach Gus Bradley if he goes 0-4 at the bye?  Do you think the owner would fire both of them if that happens?  I highly doubt it, but they both would feel the pressure & the media would be talking about it and possible GM / HCs for them..

Not something that big. But I have slept with bigger woman before.
Quote:We got our defensive lineman in Jackson. We get Fowler back. Linder and Lee on offense will be healthy. Yeldon is coming back. We got Ivory. Gipson and Amukamura will help our secondary.

We still get the draft and any cuts around the league during preseason.

Please....let us win at least 2 games before the bye in week 5.

Packers - let's be reasonable. Loss

Chargers - winnable

Ravens - winnable

Colts - coin toss

All of these games are tough. We'll be lucky to win one of those games just based on our history alone. I don't like our odds against Green Bay at home. Not against a healthy Rodgers with a returning Nelson. When is the last time we ever won a road game on the West Coast? Especially agains the Charges? History shows it's ugly out there for us as a team. The Ravens could be back in the thick of things this year. Don't ever count out what Harbaugh can do. And ESPECIALLY don't count out what Ozzie Newsome can do as a GM. And the clots are a different team with Luck in the line-up. They're going to be out to prove themselves this year for sure. Just watch them closely during the first three weeks. Wouldn't be shocked if they're undefeated when we face them.

The other thing is this with Bradley. Let's say we DO get off to an ugly and dismal start. Do they fire him early on in the season like Miami did with Philbin? Or do they ride this out to the bitter end? Who would get the nod in the interim? Maybe Greg Olson? We'll see....
Marrone is the likely choice. And yes, I think Shad and Dave have to make a move if the team starts flat again.

So you're a proponent of The Moped Principle then, good man!

If the team goes 0-4, they may not fire him on the spot but it will become just a matter of time at that point.
I doubt Khan would make any sort of move before the end of the season unless things go catastrophically wrong, and the only way that would really happen is if you have injuries that take guys like Bortles, Hurns, and Robinson out of the equation.  If that was to happen, I'm even more convinced that nothing would happen until the end of the season.

An 0-4 start would be the equivalent of Henne's first half against the Clots, it may not be the plan to bench him but something has to give when people start heading for the door.
All I can say is Gus better have a moving company on speed dial.

I know the "GET RID OF GUS NOW!" crowd thinks something would happen.  I'm skeptical it would at that point.  It's a long season.
Packers - L (this team hasn't shown me they can beat a perennial winner, home or not)

Chargers - L (they own us)

Ravens - L (they will be looking for revenge for last year and will be extra motivated)

Colts - L (we still haven't come close to competing with them when they have Luck)

oof.

They really screwed us with the way the schedule is set up. The only time we have back to back home stands before at least week 10 is Ravens and Colts, and that "home game" is in London. smh.

"It's a great day for football here in Jacksonville as the Raiders come to town to play the Oh and Five Jaguars!"

I have a sneaking suspicion some of you are really setting yourselves up for a major disappointment, but that's what brings the comic relief to this board.
