If we can just win the 1st game it will definitely help pick up the momentum. I would hate for a 0-2 start, I would start the fire Gus before it's too late riot.

I'm sure the colts fans were saying the same things about Tony Dungy 10 years ago, right?

 

If you go look at their old posts on the colts message board I'm sure you'll see tons like this: "Man, the Jaguars are pretty good this year, it'll be okay if Dungy leads the team to 6 or 7 wins, we should all just be okay with that kind of result because we play the Patriots and the Jaguars have Stroud and Henderson."

Maybe not 16-0, but we have a serious shot at starting 4-0 before the bye. Baltimore is beatable, so is San Diego and Indy. If we can upset the Pack in Jacksonville(its going to be HOT) we have a serious chance at 4-0 or 3-1. 

Id say 1-1 in the first 2 games. Will be tough to pick up steam when your 0-2 off the bat. Forget 2-2 in the first 4, we got screwed with our first two games. Green bay, like always will be a perennial playoff contender while the Chargers always kick our butt because we cant and never have played well on the West Coast. 

 

Very important to get a win in one of our first two matches. We will need confidence because 0-2 could have bad implications on confidence and ability to bounce back. 

When I look at the Jaguars coaching staff, I just don't see an interim coach type hanging around.  Gus bus till it busts.

The Packers were pretty ugly on offense most of the season. Without Jordy, they had no down field threat. I'll have a better idea on our chances when I see how Jordy looks. I live in Green Bay, I'm going to try and talk a friend or two into going down to Jacksonville so I can see my first Jags game in person not played in GB.

Yeah, I'm with you but they still have Aaron Rodgers. He is the type of player that can put the whole team on his back.


Glad we have Gipson and Amukamura to help ruin his day. And with Fowler coming back, I hope he has a coming out party on opening day.

To beat the packers, we need to control the time of possession.

 

Draft Tunsil and run the ball down their throat.  BJ Raji is gone and Clay Matthews should finally be feeling the effects of 10+ years of steriod abuse.
