Quote:You are definitely radiating some salt, my man. We just did really, really well in FA. We have the draft still. Guards can come in and play quickly (see Linder). It's going to be okay.
I'm just sick of people downgrading the importance of offensive linemen. I don't care what offense you're talking about, it will go nowhere without a decent offensive line, and I am pretty frustrated that after 4 years of rebuilding, we have failed to build a decent offensive line. It's the most important position on the team outside of QB, because a great offensive line controls the ball, keeps the other team off the field, takes pressure off of the quarterback, keeps our own defense off the field. Offensive line is critical to the success of the team, and yet for year, I hear people say, oh, don't worry, we can get offensive linemen later in the draft. We need to invest some significant draft capital in our offensive line this year.
But I am very happy about the guys we've apparently signed, don't get me wrong.
Browns shopping Osweiler and late rnd 17, for a 2018 3rd rnd pick and will eat "at least half" of Brock's $16M salary
Lets trade for Brock and Browns 3rd for a ball bag, then cut him lol.

Browns are actually doing some really good things

Loading up for Jimmy G. Pats could get quite a haul considering all the picks Cleveland has.

Would be quite the improvement on offense
I feel so relieved knowing the Campbell and Bouye deals are official
I'm alone at the top of the Modis, thanks for the updates, I'm coming back down!

You can take the stairs instead of jumping now

I'd say compared to the Jags' "blow it up and start over" the browns are "start-overing" a lot more convincingly.

We need to draft a quality guard and a good RT.

Offensive line is absolutely critical, I agree. I think at least 3 of our picks this year should be linemen.
Regardless, its all on Bortles now and we did nothing to help him.
Here's the fun part about all of this. There is still so much free agency to go

LT has a stop-gap upgrade. They can land a guard in the 2nd or 3rd round.
