They also signed Lerentee McCray, re-signed Bryan Walters, and completed the trade for Brandon Albert.

Quote:The Jaguars should beat them to the punch by signing Romo. He's better than Blake right now, and when he goes down or is ready to retire... hello, we still Blake and now he's BETTER having learned under Romo. Meanwhile, the Texhens still don't have a QB.

With Tony Romo added though,  I doubt the Jaguars would pick up 5th year option on Blake Bortles.
Quote:So what's up with the mediocre left tackles getting incredible deals?

It seems like some teams are paying for past press clippings,  not recent play at the position.
Quote:We REALLY need to trade back now with our needs vs the top of the draft and value...

Agreed.
Are we in play for Lang or no?

Quote:Keep an eye on mangold no source. Just makes sense cause linder can play guard.

I don't see any way we move Linder back to OG. The FO loves him at Center.
Anyone want to kick the tires with rg3
Another good thing about this FA is we made Texans worse by stealing Bouye and Titans signed Cyp.  Great FA year.  I was hoping the Colts, Texans, or Titans would sign the Joke

Quote:I'm just sick of people downgrading the importance of offensive linemen.   I don't care what offense you're talking about, it will go nowhere without a decent offensive line, and I am pretty frustrated that after 4 years of rebuilding, we have failed to build a decent offensive line.   It's the most important position on the team outside of QB, because a great offensive line controls the ball, keeps the other team off the field, takes pressure off of the quarterback, keeps our own defense off the field.   Offensive line is critical to the success of the team, and yet for year, I hear people say, oh, don't worry, we can get offensive linemen later in the draft.   We need to invest some significant draft capital in our offensive line this year.

But I am very happy about the guys we've apparently signed, don't get me wrong.

I agree 110%.

Agree, he was a top 5 center
Quote:It does. I can't get over Matt Kalil getting $55 million and $27 million in guarantees. He's been a below average lineman for the past several seasons.

Don't kick to hard or you'll break an axle.

I'll take him over Henne.

Why, Henne can at least stay on the field.

TJ Lang initially visiting Detroit and Seattle. GB still in the mix, per sources.

Maybe not... but they could still renegotiate with him to extend his contract.

I think it is clear we will go oline heavy in the draft.  I say at least 2 oline picks in our first 4 picks

I could see RB, OL, OL in rounds 1-3 easily.
Has Chicago signed any qb since letting Cutler go? Hopefully this puts them in play for QB at 3

Too bad the OL crop is relatively mediocre this year
