Quote:Caldwell also said that we were in the process of trying to close a couple of more deals and we're open to more than that if it improves the roster.

Now wait...Caldwell doesn't want to get fired but Coughlin is doing everything? So who do you fire if this year doesn't work out?

Now him, I wouldn't mind bringing in to compete and/or back up. He'd be cheap.

<p class="">Calais Campbell will wear No. 93 with the Jaguars, taking number previously worn (for 7 years) by Tyson Alualu

I would be down in bringing him in as a backup to compete. The problem is that we re-signed Henne; so I'm not sure how much they want to invest in another backup QB....

Misread, ignore lol
Was Tyson a FA this year? If so, are we thinking about re-signing him?
Quote:Devin Taylor is still out there, and likely can be acquired for minimal dollars. A 6'7 275 DE only 27 that can be a depth/rotation guy for Calais at base end. He was a starter with Detroit last year with mediocre production. Woodard supposedly has potential, but I don't trust guys with no pro experience coming back from a torn achilles.
Devin Taylor had a very disappointing season on a contract season. He showed flashes though and certainly has talent / frame. Taylor should sign a 1 year contract in order to re-establish himself.
Quote:What did you post ?
I read it as Tyson not giving the number up; but forgot that Tyson was a FA this year (I think right?) haha
Good to see Calais will wear a familiar number.

#Jaguars CB @AJBOUYE21: Just talking with Tom Coughlin and the staff they are trying to win now and they told me what is expected of me.

He'd be a nice addition to our team and very cheap. Coughlin has a little experience playing against him in the NFC East so maybe he's interested.
