Quote:Henry is gonna be beastly this year. He was really coming on at the end of last year.

I'd take Henry over Fournette all day every day.

LF has injury history.

Henry didn't cost a top 5 draft selection.

I suppose the LF fan crowd gotta keep hyping him up in hopes we waste our first rounder on him.

Personally I don't think you use 1st round picks on RBs unless you know they are AP... Freddy T... ya know... worth it...

otherwise you can get similar RBs in the 2nd round or gems late...

Well Fournette is graded as well as Zeke was coming out.
AP visiting Seattle, Lacy visiting Seattle and Minnesota. I would imagine Seattle would most likely sign AP.

Which means Murray to us seems likely. Odd, but likely.

Um no he's not.
Fournette is just lucky that Zeke did as well as he did this season. If Zeke had a crap season do you really think Fournette would be projected to go as high as they have him?

Every site I have seen has their ratings really close.

Zeke was graded 7.09

Fournette graded 6.95

So not "the same" but minimal difference in the grading.

Henry was graded 6.15
TJ Lang down to 3 teams...Packers, Lions and Seahawks.

One factor:  Teams that are ready to win now.

I really hope that T.J. Lang signs with the Seahawks being that I want the Lions to use the salary cap funds on Defense and want the Packers weakened.  My gut feeling is he re-signs with Green Bay.    The Lions have enough potential viable options already on the roster for the Guard positions.

The draft flexibility this would provide the Jaguars seems like a significant part of the decision making process.
TJ Lang signs with Lions.

Looks like a very heavy Defensive draft coming up for the Lions.

I like the player.  But the Lions Defense needs at least two starting caliber additions in the Front 7 and a couple of other depth options.

At least it's a solid draft to need defense in

Very true.

My preference now is for the Lions to sign a veteran RB if the cost is favorable,  trade G Laken Tomlinson, and draft Defense with around 6 out of the 8 picks.  I think GM Bob Quinn is going to try to trade Tomlinson and would settle for a 4th Round pick.

Why is Quinn looking to trade Tomlinson? And I wonder if the Jags would be interested?

Denard Robinson is available...
Jags need to sign Cutler, he's an upgrade over bortles

If we sign Murray, maybe the Jags would trade Ivory for Tomlinson
