Quote:until he got old the only man I seen abuse Revis was Ted gin Jr he is far from a system player but he is a man to man corner ted ginn showed the enevitable n sooner or later wen u get old u can't stick to those wrs anymore his career is playing out just like another great quip cb ty law here one second gone the next
Living in NY I saw Revis' play firsthand, Stevie Johnson from the Bills consistently lit him up, his worst game against Revis was like 84 yards IIRC. For some reason he just had Revis' number.
Randy Moss could score on him legit any time he wanted to, the problem was that given the Patriots Plethora of weapons, they'd just force feed targets to Welker to shred Lito Shepard (or whoever was across from Revis) to cinders.
Ginn's pure speed meant that if Revis didn't get his hands on him well enough at the line, he was just gone, dude was a one-trick deep threat but he was a bullet once he got a couple steps.
Lastly, not to be a homer, but Mike Sims-Walker put up 50+ yards and a score, including 2 crucial 3rd down conversions against Revis on the game winning drive (this was 2009 I believe) don't get this twisted I'm sure Revis would win the matchup 9 times out of 10, I just remember seeing Sky get him when it mattered on this one occasion and helped us snatch the W.
Quote:I have no idea what the point of this post is. That revis got old? Yeah thanks for the breaking news.
And "here one second, gone the next" is grossly inaccurate given both Revis and Ty Law had decade long careers.
I ment like dropped off a cliff quick fast like they did lol
Point is pure speed beats Revis like almost 200 yards 3 or 4 times so when he got old n slow u could see he would drop off quick

He was claimed off waivers by the Jags late in the season. November or December if i remember correctly.

Nothing stalkerish about this.

He played around 40 rotational def snaps and maybe 20 or so on ST.
I'd guess he was brought on to get the DT numbers leveled after Miller's injury.

Ha! That is too funny. Thanks 4 that laugh

Being that I've known you on the MB/ Forum for over 14 years, this is the first time that I can recall you not being aware of a Jaguars player! LOL
Jordan Hill was claimed off waivers by the Jaguars from the Redskins on November 21. Ironically, the day after the Jaguars-Lions game.

According to the KFFL site, Jordan Hill suffered a calf injury that kept him out of the regular season finale.

I actually thought the same thing! :teehee:
@JasonLaCanfora
Kicker Zach Hocker worked out for the Jags today
Quote:So you're comparing Manning going to Denver to Romo coming here? Now THAT's funny.
Hey Rico, I broke my left ankle in the 8th grade. Are you sure I'm allowed to compare Tony to Peyton?
Or am I no good now?
Side note: I am completely healed up now. Or do you think I'm going to break it again?

So it took you 14 days to come up with this brilliant retort. Without refuting how stupid this is point-by-point. Let me just say that is extremely moronic if you somehow think this is an apples-to-apples comparison.
