Quote:Really though you'll probably know what all the big name free agents are doing on Tuesday. That's when "legal tampering" begins.
That's also when the fake tweets will be in full affect

Y'all remember what Bruce Irvin did last year? Lol
Glad we didn't take on that contract and we got Jack too

7 sacks and led the league in forced fumbles definitely isn't bad...

Im talking about he followed jags players and acted like he was coming here and even made comments on twiiter like he was coming here and signed with the Raiders at the last second.  He had a lot of help with Mack on the other end.

Oh, well the comments about being glad we didn't take on that contract...I think he would have helped us a lot.

Andre Branch had 8 sack one year without Mack on the other end.  I dont think Irvin is worth the 10 mill and I dont think we would of drafted Jack and Yannick.   If we signed Irvin I think we would of went a different route with one of those picks
Yes look forward to a big week of new and Jags updates here.

Was just thinking about Day earlier (ToDay) and decided to check this out-

Why are we interested in Bennett with what appears to be a historically good draft for TE's? I know, I know, just conjecture, but just my thoughts on that at this very early stage. Similar to last year when we dropped a crapload of money on a veteran RB when there were lots of better options in the draft.

According to Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida Times-Union, the Jaguars are expected to allow free agent DL Tyson Alualu to test the open market next week.

Or we may not be interested and his agent could be using us as a team that has money to raise the price
Tuesday cant get here soon enough....

Quote:Multiple sources tell PFT that Gilmore hopes to exceed deals previously signed by Janoris Jenkins ($12.5 million per year at signing) and Richard Sherman ($14 million per year in new money; $11.48 million per year at signing). If it happens, that still won’t set the high-water mark established last year by Washington cornerback Josh Norman, who received $15 million per year at signing after Carolina rescinded the franchise tender.

Sorry but he's not that good.
He's not as good, but there's a looooot more cap space this year.

Oh no....not Alualu.
Ryan O’Halloran suggests Prince Amukamara, A.J. Bouye, Stephon Gilmore, Logan Ryan and Brandon Carr as potential candidates for them to target in free agency. O’Halloran predicts that if Bouye doesn’t re-sign with Houston, Jacksonville will give him $30 million guaranteed.

As for strong safety, O’Halloran considers Johnathan Cyprien, Barry Church, Tony Jefferson, Jahleel Addae and T.J. McDonald as names to watch. If the Jaguars lose Cyprien, O’Halloran believes they could wait to address the position in the draft, possibly at No. 4 overall.

Some potential defensive end options for Jaguars could include Tyson Alualu, Calais Campbell, Jabaal Sheard, Jack Crawford and Devin Taylor. O’Halloran predicts they’ll sign Campbell and bring back Alualu on a two-year deal.

In regards to the left guard position, O’Halloran predicts they’ll bring back Patrick Omameh, as opposed to signing one of the top names.
30 mil guaranteed for Bouye...sorry but we ain't sniffing him for that Ryan O.

If we don't sign a guard Coughlin should be shot into the sun along with everyone else involved in decision making at Everbank Field.
