I fully expect to have it announced by early this afternoon that we have reached an agreement with A.J. Bouye. The fact that we were more than willing to let Prince test free agency, and then let House go and essentially drop the number of Cornerbacks on our roster to basically 3, shows me that we have an agreement in place with one of the big name corners. I think it'll be Bouye because he is just entering his prime, and we can steal him away from a division rival. If you look on Joe Banner's twitter a couple of days ago someone had asked him if there was a point to the "legal tampering period." He said that there is no point to it, and that most of these deals are already completed. I would copy and paste it in here if I knew how lol. If we could bring in Bouye, Campbell, and a guard, I think that we will have hit this free agency period out of the park. I think if this is our class, then we will draft a Safety at 4. I'm not sold though that we are willing to give a Guard 10-12 million/year, but we'll see.

Im not getting my hopes up.

Dude's gonna be 31 this year. Not a spring chicken by any stretch, but I see no reason not to throw him some money. He's never been a bullrush kinda guy, so maybe he can teach a few finesse moves to Fowler. I see him as a compliment to Yannick on the other side.

Thoughts?

I agree that we might have a deal already in place with a CB for the same reasons you stated. And I second your hopes on the other positions although I don't want to get my hopes up, this will be a difficult and competitive year through FA.

We'll see what rumours start to pop up in a couple of hours.

Quote:Looks like the Bears are going to be getting Glennon.

Speaks volumes to this QB class when someone is going to pay Glennon $10-15 million instead of a 1st round rookie
I have no idea in which thread to post at this point, hopefully they merge the 2 threads soon.

Browns are expected to have heavy interest in Cyprien, given his scheme fit in Cleveland. I've been told Jefferson will dictate his market.

John Fox is a brave man to let his coaching future rest on Mike Glennon
The Browns want to sign Tony Jefferson to a big deal or if that fails sign Cyp apparently.

3rd round compensatory pick coming our way next year if so.

So Browns sign Cyp, we sign Jefferson AND get a 3rd rounder? I like.

Actually, we probably won't be getting any compensatory picks. The compensatory picks are based on the Free Agents we lost versus Free Agents we gained. We aren't losing enough free agents this year to counteract the amount we are probably signing.
14-15 mil per year for Glennon? Uh. Gotta be a typo right lol?

Damn I didn't know it worked that way.

Jags' interest in Calais Campbell (as reported by @MikeKlis) makes a ton of sense. Tough, smart, reliable, long. That's a Coughlin guy.

People go crazy for QB's - More importantly the Buccs need to be criticized for not being able to unload him for picks if he commands $14m

RB at 4

The dream ended before it even beganSad
Chargers release DJ Fluker the guard/tackle.
