Strongside end and can move inside.

He'll play the big end and add a real pass rushing element to the position.

He'll most likely set the edge at DE and can also be moved inside at DT if we go with a heavy pass rush unit - similar to Jackson.

Big end, move Fowler to bench/rotation.
I can't imagine if we can bring in Zietler and Bouye, but we can spend a ton on Bouye and be fine because Ramsey is so easily affordable for what 4 more years? Financially, we can easily afford both Zietler and Bouye, and Martellus Bennett on top of it.

If we wanted a little extra money we could always cut a guy like Skutta as well
A very good thing is no corners or guards have agree. I think we at least get one of the top guys at one of those
Exactly. We could cut Skuta and we know were looking to move Marks. We have plenty of cap space to do whatever we want.
Do you think we move Fowler to linebacker?
Quote:Do you think we move Fowler to linebacker?
I think he'd be great as a SAM LB.
Fowler-Jack-Smith
Ngakoue-Miller-Jackson-Campbell
Looks great to me
Quote:Do you think we move Fowler to linebacker?
lol, fowler is moving more than likely to a rotational aka BENCH role

If so, what does that mean for Poz and Jack?
I think you'll be changing Roy Miller for Abry Jones
We could have a nasty 3-4 once we get a #2 corner
Quote:And everyone said be happy if we get two of those.
Yet I don't think anyone will be happy if we are essentially done with FA now.
I mean...I would.
As crazy as that sounds, we filled two huge needs. OG for all intents and purposes we should most definitely target, but if we don't that just means one of Lamp, Feeney, etc. will be a Jaguar come draft time as OG, TE, and CB are our final 3 real "needs".
This isn't it, just saying, getting one of the better DE's in the game and an average SS with great leadership/toughness (who is a solid upgrade to our previous SS) is a nice FA. Zeitler/Warford/Leary/Lang etc. just take it to the next level. Same with a CB.
We've won FA the last few years so you cant get too overly optimistic that these guys are going to kill it, but Campbell I feel pretty damn confident about. Been one of the more underrated monsters in the NFL for several years now. His production as a 3-4 END is impressive.
Ian Rapoport @RapSheet
At the end, the #Redskins and #Jaguars were in it for Calais Campbell. When Washington bowed out he was Jacksonville bound.

The LAST thing DFJ needs is another reason to use his head/learn how to play another position… I hope he can get it together and buck up especially as a 1st round draft pick. We can't have any more stupid penalties (roughing, offsides, neutral zone infractions, etc).
barry church is meh.. solid signing, for sure better than cyprien by atleast a bit
but getting calais is huge.. dude is the real deal.. only concerning thing is he is 30... but honestly its time to WIN NOW.. we will get him for 2 seasons of elite play. Time to win. Get Zeitler and either gilmore or bouye (sp?) and we in it to win it baby
Fowler is lucky to be a good situational pass rusher like Ngakoue was.
I'm sure Ngakoue is working hard on being a better run defender. When he comes to camp, I expect him to be a little bigger and stronger and I'm sure he has worked on his technique. The DE position is Yannicks.... Fowler will come in on obvious pass rushing downs when Campbell slips inside.
