Quote:Fowler is lucky to be a good situational pass rusher like Ngakoue was.
I'm sure Ngakoue is working hard on being a better run defender. When he comes to camp, I expect him to be a little bigger and stronger and I'm sure he has worked on his technique. The DE position is Yannicks.... Fowler will come in on obvious pass rushing downs when Campbell slips inside.
I think it's pretty obvious the job is Ngakoue's. You got a lot of big guys up there in Campbell, Jones and Jackson. Gotta have that speed off the edge. That is Yannick.
I still want dline at #4.
I wonder if the addition of Campbell and Church will help lure one of the top corners here.
I really want Logan Ryan honestly. Would be more than happy with Bouye though

Brian Hoyer Gets Two-Year, $12M Deal From #49ers With $10M Gtd. Can Be Worth $18M With Incentives
All this wont matter if we dont have a QB.........Now sign Romo.
Campbell and Church, I love it
Now get the G and Bouye

Ryan was benched last year for the Pats because he was really bad outside, then he shone once they moved him inside.
I would be pretty trepidatious if we gave him big money to be our other boundary CB.
This draft is so deep at CB it doesn't concern me at all tbh

Everyone has told you this already but since you still continue to ignore it ill tell ya again
To sign romo, he has to WANT to come here

You've been doing so good...lol.
It's true that we need at least average QB play to do anything though. But Romo and anyone available isn't the answer. Plus, Romo is going to a well established team like HOU and DEN, not a team that looks good on paper.

He will cry like a [BLEEP] no matter what. If we signed Romo he would whine about something else.
Quote:If so, what does that mean for Poz and Jack?
Jack should be the starting middle linebacker.

Sorry but the third party depth chart website would be incorrect. Butler and Rowe started outside, and Ryan had the 12th most slot corner reps in the NFL.
Ryan played outside for most of his career and early 2016 before being benched for Rowe, but he was mostly slot last year...and more importantly a lot better in the slot.
Could he go back to being a boundary CB for another team? Sure, and he probably will at the price he will command. I would just rather it be another team that tries it.

We only have 3 corners. Logan Ryan would certainly help. Is he on the tier of Bouye, Kirkpatrick, Gillmore? No. But I'd certainly take him.

Bingo.

As a boundary corner no I don't think so. If we are giving up on Colvin as our slot corner than Ryan would be a great addition in that role, but he would be too highly paid.
Bringing back Prince would be safer, and probably cheaper.

Everytime I have seen the Pats play he played great.

If he is so bad on the outside why did he play outside in the playoffs and the Super Bowl?
