Hi, Jaguars fans!    Our 1-8 Jacksonville Jaguars are still in the hunt to win their second game in 2014, as they  to play the 6-3 Dallas Cowboys at Wembley Stadium in Northwest London, England.

 

Both Jacksonville and Dallas are only playing the sixth regular season game since the Jaguars entered the NFL back in 1995.  Jaguars amazingly leads the series 3 games to 2, and also have outscored the Cowboys in the previous five games 123 to 98 points.

 

Jaguars also embarrasses the Cowboys and their fans by winning the last and most recent game played at their new Cowboys, now AT&T Stadium, in Arlington, Texas.  Jaguars QB David Garrard threw four TD passes, and added his 2-yard TD run, for a 35-17 victory back on Halloween, October 31, 2010.

 

Jaguars hopefully  can demonstrate much better   on the field, as they lost to the San Francisco 49ers 42-10 in their last visit at Wembley Stadium, back in October 27, 2013.

 

Kenny Albert and Daryl Johnston are announcing the live TV commentary, along with sideline reporter Tony Siragusa, for the NFL On FOX's early regional doubleheader game, and televised in Jackson ville on  WFOX Channel 30, live on HD.

 

Mostly clear skies at 49 degrees, feels like 46 degrees,  is the game forecast inside Wembley Stadium, for the 1:05PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff, and 6:05PM local London time kickoff, along with 82% humidity, 20% precipitation, and mild southern winds at 6 miles per hour.

 

Cowboys are wearing the white jerseys and silver pants as the designated visiting team, while the Jaguars are the designated home team wearing their matching black jerseys and pants.

I was going to say this should be a quick entry since Indy and Houston are off, but I have had all kinds of issues posting this.

 

Now the short short version....to keep from spewing a string of expletives into the atmosphere.

Overall:  20-10 

Sunday morning - Sees all the positives that can occur. Believes this can be 'The Week'. Anxious for game to start.....gets motivated by the talking heads laughing at the prospect of your team winning. Wishes for victory.....offers "insert here" for a win.


Sunday evening - Loss -Angry, creates "Fire Bradley, Fisch, Babich" or "Trade/Cut Rb, Qb, Wr....etc" thread. Random ppl unheard of b4 appear to pile on. Win -Praise favorite player while others claim luck, and how they're not that good.


Monday - Still mad, in disbelief of result. Reads Twitter, drinks etc. Team Is Dead To You!!!


Tuesday - Compares your game to others, remembers team is full of rookies, sees potential upside. Someone creates "What "insert team fans" are saying thread.


Wednesday - Threads get positive, JW/J-Dub/J-Dubyah? Idk creates Injury Thread, guys criticize, Others say something bout TMD, he eventually responds, they have issue. "Insert team" lookalike thread created.


Thursday - Somebody creates a "We're going to crush "Insert team" thread. Snowwolf predicts, rocks the beads. JW updates injury thread. Scores are predicted. Some predict blowout loss, others blowout WIN with Madden numbers for Bortles. People believe in victory.


Friday - Can't wait for Sunday


Saturday - Watches college football, Probably old videos of Jaguars......feel this is the Week.

Not sure why everyone thought they were a decent team. FSU should have beat the brakes off them too.

 I know its still way too early to tell but if we re done the draft I think I would still go Bortles.  I think Bortles upside is too high to pass up, he just needs to cut down on the turnovers and I think he will be the best qb out of this class. Thoughts?

Very interesting considering Kroenke owns 60 acres of land in Inglewood which is believed to be a possible LA stadium site. Rams to LA seems to be picking up more and more traction as each day passes.

Pretty cools blurbs where Shad hits on the successes (and probable extension of the London series), how the Jags will really open up in 2015 FA, and optimism on the shipyards proposals. 

 

Perhaps the most important note to point out for the locals here: "*It doesn’t sound like Khan is open to playing more than one home game in London per year."

Back when we were a run first team is when we used to wear defenses down.


While this has become a passing league, DeMarco Murray and the Dallas Cowboys are winning old school style.


I say just feed Dennard 25 to 30 times a game, and let Bortles play action over the top.
