Very unfortunate, apparently he failed or missed a drug test?

Confirmed via @APMarkLong that Justin Blackmon DID apply for reinstatement and was denied.
Edit: 5/13/2015 - It is now leaning towards a false rumor and it seems like APMarkLong had false information, and Blackmon never applied in the first place.
So you're telling me there's a chance
So does this mean he is Done done? since he failed(one way or another)?

Won't be able to apply again until he's 26, so yeah, the dude is done. I don't see how he can stay out of the league that long and come back. He could apply again next year, but there's no way he'll be the same player.
We don't need him..

p.s.. Julius says "hi" and to send him a postcard..
One day we'll get good news.
...I hope
Next year we will get Blackmon and Fowler Jr back. That would be nice.
If he failed a test or wasn't clean why would he apply for restatement? Something doesn't add up to me.

Yeah but I could see Blackmon being just careless / forgetful enough to miss a required testing.

Best news we can hear at this point is him turning his life around. It'd be a miracle if he ever played another down.

read something on Deadspin about how easy it was for Aaron Hernandez to pass drug tests and smoke pot 11 months out of the year... Granted he was not in stage 3 of the phases... But if he could do it and still pass I'm pretty sure anyone could.
Is pot still illegal for players in Denver and Seattle seeing as how it is recreationally legal for them to smoke in Those states?

Pot use is still illegal on the Federal level, so the NFL uses that to justify their policy.
Another day another depressing piece of news.
Why did I pick the Jags?
