Just seen a article stating that Allen Robinson, Allen Hurns, and Marqise Lee are 1, 2 and 3 with Rashad Greene 4th.. So that obviously leaves left Tommy Streeter and Ace Sanders to fight for the 5th and 6th spots here's the link..

Oh bull. The guy had a dui in college, a dui right after the draft, and multiple substance abuse suspensions. He was also arrested for having tree in his car, all while still being suspended.

The guy made his own bed; sure, he didn't beat any women, but he knew the rules. He's earned everything he's got.

Neal Sterling is your 5th.

5th tight end

I don't think he's the 5th best tight end, I don't even know how to map it out after Lewis and Thomas, but his best shot is at TE, IMO

Funny... the Jaguars should just cut the guy alreaady.

Everything I have seen so far points to Sterling playing WR. He was announced as a receiver, Dave mentioned him as a receiver when asked about Blackmon coming back, he lined up out wide through rookie camp, and practiced with the WRs all through rookie camp.
I think they hope Sterling will become a Justin Blackmon type of slot receiver.

Cost's us nothing.

If he is cut, he could possibly play elsewhere

Any chance to recoup value is to let him stay indefinite on Jags Roster.

Since he does not count as a position, no harm.

I agree so much with this. I swear its the fact that we are a small market team and Goodell is a joke anyways.

Justin Blackmon vs. Tom (Golden Boy) Brady

Justin Blackmon - Jacksonville Jaguars

Tom Brady - (Goodell owned) New England Cheaters

Winner: Tom Brady

I'm sure he'll practice with the tight ends once Hurns, Lee, Robinson, Sanders, etc. come in. As soon as he was announce they talked about him being a developmental move tight end. But hey, if he does play wide receiver, I'm all for it. Anyone that can help us win a championship. I just don't see him making the team as a Wide Receiver and can see him being more effective as a Tight End. If I'm wrong, I won't be bent out of shape though as long as he's catching TDs

Streeter has been released, so he's not going to be competing for anything at this point.
Outside of a few tweets, has this been confirmed?

Mike Dempsey just confirmed that he talked to Mark Long who said that is indeed what happened and that it wasn't his speculation.

John Osher said he had not heard that and was still under the impression that he had not reapplied yet.

So Dempsey is confirming Mark Long's tweet because Mark Long said it did indeed happen.  Nobody else in the media has reported this.  The guy closest to the team who you'd think would have the most insight into this story is saying he hasn't heard anything yet.  The guy who truly hates Blackmon like the receiver is his arch enemy, Ryan O'Halloran, hasn't been able to confirm this story either.

It may very well be a case of Blackmon not being able to apply for reinstatement until some time in late May or early June because of the incident that happened before he went into rehab but while he was suspended.  Odds are, there's a decent chance that if he did indeed apply for reinstatement, the league told him it was too soon to do so because of that July incident.
To be honest, we would have heard about this by now from a national media perspective if it were true. I am calling BS at the moment.

Agreed.  Even for a team that is almost completely ignored by the mainstream media, you'd have the usual suspects like Florio dancing an Irish Jig to get this out on his site if Blackmon had been denied reinstatement.  We haven't seen anything of the sort.

I am really convinced he's been told by the league when he can apply for reinstatement, and that date hasn't arrived yet, and Long is either getting bad intel, or he's flat out misrepresenting facts.  I don't think he'd do the latter, so let's just suppose that what he's being told isn't coming from anyone who has any real insight.

You know, I really don't care any more about the idiot. But I would have to agree, if anything *** official *** had happened yet I'm sure we would have heard more than just speculation.

More like Dempsey hijacked an entire radio segment repeating the same thing over and over for ten minutes.  He literally could have said what he was saying in one sentence.

What's funny about this is that he tweeted it over the weekend that they'd confirmed the denial of reinstatement, and that he'd have discussion about this on Monday.  All he did was talk to Mark Long.  Probably ran into him at the The Players and asked in passing.

How about finding another source aside from the only person on the planet reporting this?

The Fowler injury took the steam out of his "breaking news" on Blackmon.  Then the big accident on 95 today prevented him from being in studio, so it dragged on and on.  The fact that Oehser hasn't heard anything about it makes it even more of a non-story.
