The story, the scenes, the landscaping, the wording, everything. Which is why Ellie has a foul mouth in the show, because she had one in the game.

I figured as much. I still don't think it's necessary for someone to use that much language but whatever. The F bomb used to be my favorite of all my colorful language but I guess I grew out of it all when I hit my 30s.

Yea I hear ya. I read somewhere that the F bomb is used like 90 times in the game lol.

It seems that for fear of missing out, millions of viewers never stopped for toilet breaks during the M*A*S*H finale’s extra-long running time. As one urban legend suggests, they all ended up emptying their bladders at roughly the same time when the show ended. New York’s public works confirmed that many plumbing systems broke down — and it has been claimed that it was the highest usage of water at any one given time in the history of the city!

Tina Louise wasn’t popular on the set of Gilligan's Island

Tina Louise’s attempt to distance herself from Gilligan's Island more or less explains why she was not exactly a popular figure on set during filming. According to Bob Denver, while the rest of the Gilligan’s Island cast used to laugh and joke together in between takes, Louise was far happier being on her own. It was almost like she was stranded on her own personal desert island.

John Wayne received bourbon, not money, for The Beverly Hillbillies

It seems as though John Wayne made his guest appearance on the fifth season of The Beverly Hillbillies for love, not money. The Western movie legend reportedly only asked for a fifth of bourbon as payment for his brief cameo in the now politically incorrect episode, “The Indians Are Coming.” For those wondering, it was a bottle of Jack Daniels — an all-American beverage for an all-American film star.

Archie from All in the Family was misunderstood by a lot of people

The big reason Norman Lear made All in the Family was the anticipation that Archie was always going to be in the wrong. In every episode, someone would correct him or reprimand him — or try to, anyway. But when fans grew to love Archie so much that they called for him to be president, Lear couldn’t help but feel as though they had missed the show’s point.

America understood Archie Bunker just fine, it was Norman Lear and his ilk that never understood America.
I don't know if I mentioned Fubar on Netflix, but if you want a short episodic action/comedy starring Ahnold you should grab this one. 8 episodes, decent long arc with a small cliffhanger, and the actors are pretty good. The lovely Monica Barbaro carries the female lead well even though it's got a bit too much #girlboss in it. I give it 4/5 FSGs. Looking for season 2 based on the resolution of the strike.
I just finished watching a documentary on Max about Andre the Giant.  Very well done and actually pretty sad.  Good even you aren’t a huge wrestling fan.  Had to be as my wife sat and watched the whole thing with me.  I just happened to run across it as I was looking for something different to watch on Max.

That’s a good one. Andre had a personality as large as he was.

It was good but you need to just suspend reality and just laugh at the over the top unbelievably girl boss stuff. Who knows if it gets season 2 with everything going on.

Writers should be writing now so they can make money immediately but who knows the priority of the actos and crews for which movies/shows get made first.

I want to say there was a doc on A&E or some channel I *never* normally tune to. I watched it with the fam, and my youngest was sad for days that the big man died. Me too, kid. Me too.

I didn't realize he was as bad off as he was during filming of Princess Bride. He was a true performer.
Rewatching Miami Vice from years ago.. Crockett & Tubbs..

Best crime drama in my opinion.. And the best series soundtrack!!
We watched the first two episodes of F∆BA® on Netflix. Arnold Schwarzenegger is looking his age which kind of freaks me out because it means I'm getting older too. Time waits for no one. *Sad*

Anyway, he has a way with comedic timing that is underrated. I could do without the fat blonde chick who makes stupid comments that aren't necessary. The rest, so far, is just what I thought it would be. Absurd, dysfunctional, typical Arnold and amusing.
I've enjoyed watching Quarterback on Netflix. It's really well done except Brittany Mahomes. Specifically during the games where they show her screaming like a banshee being tortured. I had to hit the mute button when the camera was on her during those games.

Other than that (and watching Agnew drop the ball in the playoff game) it is an enjoyable look into Mahomes, Cousins and Mariota on and off the field.
Prince Harry may do stupid stuff from time to time but one thing he did very well was bring about the Invictus Games. Bringing wounded veterans together to compete in sport as a means to help them recover their lives from the horrors of being injured physically and/or mentally is his greatest life's work as far as I'm concerned.

Watching these men and women representing themselves and their countries in the opening ceremony was pretty cool. Instead of burying themselves in drugs, alcohol and other things that destroy lives, they walk, crutch or wheel themselves across the stage with a purpose and a goal.

Many of them came home to the dark place of depression and anxiety and post traumatic stress most of us couldn't begin to imagine let alone understand, but eventually made a choice to live for something rather than die for nothing.

I haven't watched all the episodes yet but Harry's Netflix docuseries Heart of Invictus highlights some of these athletes and you see how these Games have changed their lives. Watching all the athletes compete is really inspiring. The 2023 Invictus Games is in Dusseldorf Germany and is streaming this week on youtube if you want to check it out. CBC Sports and the official Games channel both have the previous day's stream and live streaming. What I've seen of the docuseriries is good, too.

I don't get real emotional about a lot of things but this is one that I do. I have been affected by PTS on a personal level and by those around me and to see these veteran athletes come from some really dark places that I can relate to, to achieve what they have is something special.

Harry can be a dip wad but watching his speech at the opening ceremony and hearing the passion in his voice about something he cares so deeply about makes you forget about his many faux pas.

Yes

Yerkovich and Michael Mann made a masterpiece with that one.

Great cast and tons of authentic 80's vibe that was very fresh at the time.

That Ferarri Daytona might be my favorite character in the series.

If you love the soundtrack - check out this guy who makes some cool parody/not-parody vignettes of 80's soundtrack stuff.

Lots of big named actors and actresses in that show..

Just watched the episode last week where that Daytona got blown up in that undercover illegal weapons episode.. It took a Stinger Missle to the hood lolol

I remember watching those episodes brand new.. Even saw a taping when I was a kid. They filmed in my old stomping grounds.
As a way to kill time before 1pm Jags games, somehow ive gotten addicted to Zombie House Flipping on A&E. Especially the original group out of Orlando.

I like that show. I'm on season one still. It's a different take on the house flipping scene for sure. The lady has an interesting accent that is not Floridian or anything else I can think of in the U.S. I need to look her up online because when I watch it I'm always thinking, "what is that accent?" and it drives me nuts. Lol.

Ashley Stamper. Married to the project manager Justin Stamper on the show. I believe she's Irish.

That makes sense. Not a thick accent but very different nonetheless.
So.. In the spirit of Halloween, the wife and I are watching some episodes of Ghost Adventures here and there..

There's an episode where the guys are investigating a house that's supposedly haunted by the spirit of a woman named Mary Britches Bottoms lolololol

I mean.. I don't know what else to say but, If my name was Mary Britches Bottoms i'd be pissed and throwin furniture around too..
The second season of Bosch: Legacy has begun on Prime/Freevee. I haven't watched it yet but I'm excited to see where it goes. Season one ended on a legit cliffhanger with Bosch's daughter, Maddy, being kidnapped by a criminal he was pursuing.
