Dwayne Gratz just picked of Blake Bortles pass. Wobbly pass that was underthrown in middle of field.

Rare outburst by WR coach Jerry Sullivan toward rookie WR Nathan Slaughter.

— Ryan O'Halloran (@ryanohalloran)August 4, 2014

WR coach Jerry Sullivan just seesaw down Nathan Slaughter in drills after Slaughter quit on a route in 11 on 11. With the GM 20 feet away.

Henne finds .@MarcedesLewis89 get used to that. Henne knows what Lewis is capable of especially in the red zone

I would be surprised if Gerhart plays Friday night. I expect alot of Storm and Denard.
I bet they hold Gerhorse out.
I think we all need some perspective here. Are we seeing his staff hold people out for injuries that can be easily played through? Which would explain why we are hearing about so many? Or are we just simply having more than years past?

I'd like to hear Gus address the situation either way. If they are simply holding people out for the slightest of boo boo to be ultra safe, Thats fine I suppose but let us in on the plan

I ithink based on the way he has worded things in the past he is doing a lot of this as

Precaution. They have Lee a day off the other day just so he could rest. I'm not too worried as long as we are healed up for regular season.
For a guy like Gerhart, you just make up some phantom injury and give him an excuse to take a few days off to rest his legs.    6 week preseasons are useful to evaluate bubble players and provide reps to developmental young guys.    For vets who you're going to war with for a 16 season, it's entirely too long and an antiquated remnant of a time when NFL players weren't participating in year round strength and conditioning programs and months of OTAs and minicamps in the offseason.    I wouldn't even put Gerhart in until the 3rd preseason game.

This. Also Gerhart even said Saturday that had the scrimmage been a real game he would have played. It's precautionary.

You gotta think, these guys work out hard all the time but TC is way more intense. Not surprised at all to hear about tight hamstrings or groins. Better to rest it a few days. They'll be fine. Soft tissue stuff at this time is fine. Even Calvin Johnson is listed borderline questionable almost every regular season week and he seems to do just fine.

Call me crazy, but I honestly don't see what's so intense about training camp.

Whenever I go I come away thinking "So, what exactly is hard about what they just did?"

I'm not saying I could do it as well as they can, but these are professional athletes.  I expect a guy like Allen Robinson to be able to run all day.

They're not hitting, it's basically 2-hand touch for a few weeks.  They practice 2 hours/day... so I don't see what's so hard about training camp.

Have you never done two-a-days?

Its hard on your body. Running for hours at a time every day leaves you extremely sore. Plus add hitting and you are extra sore. A lot of soreness going on.

Trying to warm up your already worn out, sore muscles gets old after a couple days.

Nice to see Lee's name absent.

Um....do they even do 2 a days anymore??

I thought that the NFL largely legislated that out under the last CBA
