Quote:No, black makes a difference. People have used temp guns on hot days to measure temp of the shirt. The black shirt can be as much as 30 degrees hotter.

Try again. Just admit you were wrong and move on. It would save a lot of embarrassment.

You should heed your own advice here, as you're the only one embarrassing yourself with such a ridiculous, erroneous argument.

Gus Bradley doing his usual hi-fives with players during stretching. He gets to Poz, who jumps up & chest bumps him. Gus loved it. #Jaguars

Quote:As said, pretty much all of the NFL teams in hot weather cities in early Sept games wear the white at home and force the opponent to wear dark uniforms, so they obviously feel theres something to the advantage.

If you and a few heel diggers want to keep pushing your crazy side you can, but its a waste.
I don't wike you guys. You're cwazy and wong!!

(Did I do that right?)
Quote:Ok, then wear black outside on hot days and then come back here and tell us honestly that you feel cooler rather than hotter because of it.

Go find the myth busters episode and watch then actually prove it to you with actual data..... Wait I forgot, data means nothing to TMD. Who needs science when you have TMD's coveted eye test!?

I'd argue further but I'm tired, but excited. I just drove down from NY and moved to winter park so I will be able to finally catch some live jags action.

I'm pumped. Sundays off at the new job too.

Don't hold your breath. The local Orlando stations are notorious for showing the Dolphins or Bucs over the Jags. Hopefully Shad and the addition of Blake will help change that.
Quote:From myth busters website:

"A fan wrote in and asked a follow up question: "Does the color of a car affect the way it heats up?". The MythBusters used two identical cars, one black the other white and left them both out in the summer heat with thermometers in both. By mid-afternoon the black car had heated up to a temperature of 135 °F while the white car topped off at 126 °F, almost 10 degrees cooler."

Sounds like black vs white does make a difference. Check your facts, people.

That's a car. Not aerated fabric.

I planned on actually going to the games.

Dedication! I like it.

I live in Orlando and we get the Jags games on CBS (AFC) and Bucs on FOX (NFC). The Jags have territorial rights over Miami in Orlando so if they're both playing at the same time we get the Jags game.

yet the color makes a difference. somebody said there was an episode where they PROVED white vs. black shirts was "busted". There is no such episode that I can find. Only an episode where they confirmed that a black car will be hotter.

Altough it was metal.... all things were equal except the color. It made a difference. Unless you have proof that modern fabrics are any different, it's logical to assume that there is some effect. How major or minor the effect might be, who knows unless you test it yourself and measure temp? I have a white and black under armour. I'm tempted to test it myself just to prove you all wrong.

So correct me if I'm wrong but it appears that Brewster has been demoted to 3rd string.

If you cant snap a ball, you should change positions
