Duly noted.
Quote:But clearly there is something to complain about, otherwise some here wouldn't be doing so.

Granted, now it sounds like there were actually more than 3 reps with the first team in a variety of drills, but that's irrelevant, right?  It's those 3 snaps that matter most.

This is a message board. Ill complain my [BLEEP] off so long as it doesnt violate the board rules. I get my right to my opinion and yea I think its wasteful snaps but don't put words in my mouth suggesting I think its a huge huge deal. We all have insignificant things we complain about

Quote:No, I think that was in later practices that the reps were increased from the original 3.

And still, so what?  He'll get plenty of reps on the field this week with the first team, and they'll be far more valuable than practice reps.

Quote:Yes, I mentioned that - in following practices, the reps did increase.

You're really batting 1000 since your return.

For the record, in that practice Bortles got 3 reps in 11x11, and 5 or so more in 7x7.

<p style="font-family:Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:16px;color:rgb(51,51,51);">

<p style="font-family:Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:16px;color:rgb(51,51,51);">"Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles finally saw practice snaps with the first-team offense today … barely.

<p style="font-family:Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:16px;color:rgb(51,51,51);">Coach Gus Bradley said Bortles took three reps in 11-on-11 during the two-and-a-half hour workout (full pads).

<p style="font-family:Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:16px;color:rgb(51,51,51);">(The practice is open to the media, but we’re not allowed to report about the team work.)

<p style="font-family:Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:16px;color:rgb(51,51,51);">“He looked good,” Bradley said. “The speed of the game, it was good for him to see that. … Standing back there, I thought, ‘This is really good for him to go against the 1s like that, to get a feel for the speed, to get a feel for the rush.’”

<p style="font-family:Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:16px;color:rgb(51,51,51);">Bradley said Bortles also took some first-team reps in 7-on-7 drills.

<p style="font-family:Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:16px;color:rgb(51,51,51);">Asked if Bortles’ first-team work would increase this week, Bradley said: “I think we’ll still stay the same, 7-8 reps a day with the 1s.”

So few reps. He'll be scarred for life.

I think there are people making a bigger deal of the posters mentioning the 3 rep practice than the people initially bringing up the occurrence itself.

You say that now.

I heard that after that 3rd rep, when the coaches pulled him out, he did a double chin-strap pull in response to the insult from Jedd Fisch, and had to endure laughter at the comicality of it all from the likes of Oehser and Alfie Crow.
Because someone undoubtedly cares......

The Lions clearly don't care about having every possible advantage early in the season.  They should force the Jags to wear their black jerseys because the heat under those lights will be wilting.
