Stop entertaining this moron.

Quote:Well, because they have to at least try to give the perception that they are trying to win, at the very least so they can convince the gullible sect of NFL fan that they are not tanking. They probably figured Schaub would get close but not enough to pull it out, which is pretty much what happened. McNair must have been nervous though in those last seconds. Probably radioed down to Schaub before that last INT that a $50,000 Christmas "bonus" was his if he threw one away, which judging by the zero Texans in the area, he clearly did.

o'righty
Quote:Who, anywhere, said that they want Henne starting for the Jaguars next year? I've yet to see that from anybody.

But hey, it's your story, so tell it how you want I guess.

That's only from two recent threads. I recall another one from a week or two ago where someone else started a thread asking if Henne shouldn't be given another chance next year.

True story, bro.
I wonder if TMD actually believes the things he's writing.

Quote:I just looked up the OROY  and DROY for the last 30 years.

Now I am laughing at this 2 picks only nonsense.

It's comical.
The 2 offensive favorites this year were 2nd and 3rd round picks!
Quote:I wonder if TMD actually believes the things he's writing.

No chance.

He's obviously a very lonely man.
Quote:.....Keep telling youself that as the Colts and Texans both had out of nowhere worst records in the NFL the year when a great QB just happened to be available and they both happened to need one.

The order to tank comes from the Owner who sees the "bigger picture" and knows what adding Luck and Bridgewater will do for both those teams.

In the Houston case, I don't think they set out to tank from the onset, like the Colts did, but by midseason, there was no doubt the Texans at that point knew what their mission was. Bridgewater.
Are you really still on the tanking crap????????

Both of the above coaches got fired, right after they "helped the owner out by making sure he got his guy"!

True story, bro.

Most of everything you linked is pertaining to bringing back Henne as a backup .

Yea, and???

I'm sure they got a nice "severance package".

Quote:Why would they want to miss out on an elite offensive tackle knowing he will be gone before they pick again? The Falcons certainly will snatch up Matthews if the Rams don't.

The arrogance with which you post blows my mind. It's December and you're predicting the draft, telling everybody else they're wrong. Go fly a kite and quit taking yourself so seriously. You don't know your elbow from a hole in the ground.
The NFL higher ups must be giddy that a lot of Jaguars fans don't seem to buy into the tanking that their inter divisional rivals just pulled off that will in turn keep the Jaguars down for most of if not the next decade with Luck and Bridge.

Its like being robbed multi times and being in denial that you live in a bad neighborhood. smh... Laughing

There you go making stuff up again, TMD.
How many QB starved teams are there? And you want to wait til pick 39 to get one? I don't know about that strategy. I'd rather just get our guy now if he is the "guy" because by pick 39 you're looking at picking up the scraps.

The only person in any of those threads to mention Henne as a starter was a 10 post troll. Is a 10 post troll what you meant by Jaguar land?

Not as many as you'd think. There is no point of reaching for an QB just to take a QB. Of course, if the QB we want is there at #3 (Bridgewater), take him. Otherwise get a stud at another position of need (Barr/Clowney) and take two QBs later in the draft to increase the odds that one pans out.

Not sure what to say to that, but im going to try. A head coaching job in the NFL is the dream job for these guys! Youre telling me, after they climb the ladder to where they worked so hard to be, they threw it all away and made fools of themselves by pretty much blowing their chance of another HC gig for a few dollars?

Theres 8 qb's rated in rounds 1-3, pretty sure it wont be scraps at 39.
