Quote:I would not put Mack, Matthews or Barr in the level of player of Clowney or Bridgewater.

I know Clowney had a season where effort lacked. But the assumption is that Clowney pretty much mailed it in because he did not want to get hurt and ruin his draft stock.

Clowney's ability is off the charts. His ceiling towers over Mack or Barr.

I disagree. I think Barr's ceiling in on par with Clowneys. Remember Barr has only been playing LB for two seasons and is still very raw. A guy with his size and athleticism and speed has tremendous upside.

Clowney is more ready now but Barr's upside is undeniable.

Johnny wont fall to 2nd.
I do not want clowney in a jags uniform.

Manziel will not be available at #39.

I second that. I feel a Derrek Harvey second coming.......

Well if you were a true Broncos fan you would find a way to watch it. Leave the Jags talk to the rest of us who root for the Jags every game... even against Denver.
Quote:I just don't understand everyones love for the caveman.  You guys talk like c'lots fans with your praise of the guy.  He's nothing special right now.   He needs to have a complete team around him to be good. Just like our QB will need.

Bro, you have to be in denial.

Luck is very good. Franchise level QB good. He is elite.

Do you realize how little he had on offense this year, especially post-Reggie Wayne????

They have zero running game to help offset the passing game, too.

If Luck was placed on our offense even minus Blackmon, he'd be posting monster numbers. With Blackmon it would be ridiculous numbers.

Grab Barr or Clowney, trade back up for Manziel.. Plenty of picks to maneuver.
If Manziel is not drafted in the top10 the Browns will take him with their second 1st round pick guaranteed

I am only able to watch football at home and I can't afford DirecTV. So no, being a real fan does not mean I will do anything to watch a game.

How much did Brady have on offense? I know luck is only a 2nd year but Brady had a lot less and did a lot more.

Luck is good, undeniably, but let's not hero worship him yet.
Quote:You think Manziel will fall to Rd#2?

Definitely won't happen

If Manziel is not picked in the top 10, the Browns don't want him, because their default pick is #5.

I like this idea I think Manziel would be good for Jacksonville
Quote:Typical for the Jags, basically the worst possible outcome. No Bridgewater and now no Clowney either.

And a glut of teams tied at 4-12 so our picks in subsequent rounds will be scattered.

It just seems scripted.

The NFL doesn't want this franchise to be successful while it remains in Jax.

Quote:Clowney will be picked no lower than 2nd. Whether that be with the Rams or trade.

Jake Matthews is easily a top 3 prospect. If the Rams trade out, that means they don't believe he can protect Bradford.

The Jaguars have proven they're not afraid to draft the BAP even if they've got a good, young player at the position. Do you think the Rams will even take that chance considering the seemingly backwards logic the Jags had with the #2 pick last year?

Do you realize how bad the Rams need a player like Matthews anyways? There's no way they trade out of that spot. Feel free to bookmark this and bump it after the draft and I'll eat crow if they do.

Not only that, but there isn't a reason for them to trade down. They have two first rounders, meaning there's no reason to even risk losing out on Matthews.

How very irrationally doom-and-gloom of you.
LOL..why is everyoen so high on Manziel now?

Luck may be very good, but no way does he belong in the same class as his predecessor, Peyton Manning.

that is an awful argument
Eh not a fan of Manziel.

I don't think "everyone" is high on him. Many people already were high on him last year.
