Quote:No, he asked me a question. I guess you cannot read. I ve now stated like 2 times in the last 30 minutes that I believe its nothing more than an intangible quality.

Quote:When is the last time I started a thread saying I told you so, or had that theme?

Yeah, I'm calling you out on it.
You have to be right, to start one.
Quote:I don't feel like looking for one.

I've been on this board for like 13 years and there are too many to count.

Your themes are always the same, I don't need to remind you or anyone else about what you do.

of course you don't feel like looking for one, because it will take you too long to find one.
Quote:So all your endless hours of scouting prospects comes down to the name??????????????? If thats the case, give me Barr because reading some of your posts in here I need a drink! (yes I know it has an extra r)

It also come downs to who the prospect is related to. If you're related to busts like David Carr, jamarcus and Tim couch you'll be a bust 100% no questions asked lol.

I haven't started a thread like that in a long time.

Good for you.  What you want, a cookie?

I've been right a heckuva lot more than I've been wrong.

Thats why people like you and others get so giddy and repeat stuff that I do get wrong like Dan Lefevour, because it doesn't happen too often so you need to cash in your chips while you can.

You come on here claiming a false statement, I call you on it, and this is what you come back with?

You yourself admitted to starting threads like that in the past.  Your excuse? "I haven't done it in a while"...

Where's the false statement?  You haven't been right on a lot of things.  You say so much about so many players, both positive and negative, that no matter what happens, you have your own words backing you up on it.  It's called flip flopping.  Moving the goal posts like someone said earlier.

I guarantee you that if Bridgewater turns out to be a bust (which BTW I doubt he will be) you will say things like "well I saw it coming with his smallish frame and all"

Your problem is you make predictions long before they have a chance to happen so if youre wrong you can hide from it, and if youre right everyone knows about it!. Am I feeling stupid for defending Gabbert for over a year? 100% YES!!!!!!!!!! But im not going to run and hide from it.

Seems like in one thread you compare Bridgewater with Manning/ Brady/ Luck, yet in another hes too small. Covering all the bases so you are always right, depending which one you copy/paste to prove it.

That would work both ways if that claim was accurate - My predictions that would later become accurate would be forgotten, too.

Then why flip flop thread to thread?,Youre covering your bases.
Quote:I don't think the Texans set out to do that from game 1 (Like the Colts (Irsay) did in 2011), but once the Texans season was already in the crapper (by around mid-season or so) I think they (or McNair specifically) decided to at that point Tank for Teddy.

I'm willing to make a bet the texans don't take teddy. I think they take a but FA. My predictions and like I say I'm willing to back it up

FYI I defended Gabbert for like 2 years and I still believe in another environment with proper coaching he can succeed. I do admit it's over for him in jax though.

I'm more inclined to take note and take people seriously on this forum when they admit their mistakes, like yourself and for that matter myself

You can't admit mistakes on this forum. Because when you do, people then throw it up in your face from that point forward whenever you take a side on something or make a prediction. I,e, "you were wrong on that so you have no cred" type crap ensues.

Bloody hell I've been wrong a lot of the times! I'm not afraid to admit it. If I was right most of the time id be a gm ( and an amazing one at that). But still my comment of the bet stands about the texans and teddy. I don't see them taking him they want/need a Super Bowl in the next 2 years and likelihood suggests they won't get it with a rookie qb

...and Mark Sanchez. And Brian Orakpo. And Everette Brown. And Matt Barkley. The list goes on.

Sure, people get some guys wrong. I've gotten plenty of guys wrong. But you won't catch me parading around spewing some bogus garbage like I'm right more than in wrong. C'mon TMD.
Quote:No.

Bridgewater is going 1st, regardless. The only

way Houston don't take him is if another team trades them a sweetheart deal to trade down.

Or they acquire a veteran free agent...ie...Cutler.

Perfect opportunity to get one of the best prospects at the position in years, and get younger at the position. Schuab is like 32, ain't no spring chicken.
I love Bridgewater but the fans are overrating a lot more than most teams probably are. It's not unrealistic to think the Texans might not want to make a Super Bowl push with a rookie. They are not a rebuilding team.

That said I can't imagine us preventing another team from trading with the Rams to take him before us.

Were the Miami Dolphins a rebuilding team when they took Marino?

The Texans will take the best QB they can get. And its better for them to take a young QB like Bridgewater since they'll have him for the next decade whereas with someone like Cutler, that wouldn't be the case.

Marino was taken at the bottom of the first round by a team with few actual needs. They weren't passing on one of the best defensive prospects possibly ever to take him. Two completely different scenarios.
