Clowney will prob be there at 3.
I think Houston takes Bridgewater. I think the rams can't pass up on Mathews thanks to Atlanta.
Now for the kicker...Clowney will be there and we will pass on him (and rightfully so).

Quote:LOL..why is everyoen so high on Manziel now?
Cause Teddy is damn near impossible now.. Id rather have Teddy, but...
I wouldn't completely forget Mariota.he recently requested his draft grade.Draft is still far away.Possible he could change his mind if his grade is high
Quote:That is an awful argument.
The Browns know other quarterback-hungry teams pick after them. So why would they expect him to still be there at their 20-something pick?
Quote:Luck may be very good, but no way does he belong in the same class as his predecessor, Peyton Manning.
Why not? Luck has broken almost all of Mannings rookie records and second year records

This franchise has done some stupid things, but passing up on who is essentially the Calvin Johnson of Defensive Ends would set a whole new bar of stupid.
Quote:I like this idea I think Manziel would be good for Jacksonville
I'm cautious on Manziel too. He seems to have not grown up yet. I was very weary of his size as well, but watched a lot more of him this year, and he showed me some stuff. I wouldn't be opposed to going after Manziel, but clearly, Bridgewater is the QB to go after. We'll see how it all unfolds because there is a lot that can happen. But I'm not sure that I'd want to give up all those picks to move back into top 5 to get Manziel too. We'd basically have to move up to #4 and take before Cleveland. That would take a lot...

I heard that he requested it before he made up his mind to stay

The Falcons are #6. That would be a four-spot drop. So yeah, I can see the Rams trading with them . . . if they don't also want Matthews.
Quote:I heard that he requested it before he made up his mind to stay
He requested it after that and got a top 15 grade.
Lets not forget.. The combine can REALLY juggle who's projected to go in the top 10.. Or even the first round..
Quote:I would not put Mack, Matthews or Barr in the level of player of Clowney or Bridgewater.
I know Clowney had a season where effort lacked. But the assumption is that Clowney pretty much mailed it in because he did not want to get hurt and ruin his draft stock.
Clowney's ability is off the charts. His ceiling towers over Mack or Barr.
Whether you like it or not, Matthews is almost as can't-miss as Luke Joeckel was last year.
The Rams aren't stupid enough to pass on Matthews for a lesser player and a few picks.
Quote:Move up to #4? re you drunk?
No, obviously, you are because I didn't say we would, I said we'd have to in order to move back up and get Manziel. Please read the whole set of information before responding idiotically. My response was to someone saying to take barr/clowney, then trading back up to get Manziel. Please READ!!
Thanks and have a great day Jaguars"Broncos"Woman. Ciao!
It's amazing listening to the post game show. People think Russell Wilsons grow on trees.
Quote:Bro, you have to be in denial.
Luck is very good. Franchise level QB good. He is elite.
Do you realize how little he had on offense this year, especially post-Reggie Wayne????
They have zero running game to help offset the passing game, too.
If Luck was placed on our offense even minus Blackmon, he'd be posting monster numbers. With Blackmon it would be ridiculous numbers.
He's a franchise QB in the same vein as Eli, Romo, Newton, Rothlesburger, etc... He's a good QB. He's not elite. He can't win a SB by himself. YOU JUST SAID IT YOURSELF!
Those types of QBs are typical of the NFL especially in the new NFL where it's all about the passing game. We currently have 2 QBs that are not even good back-ups that are starting for us. When we get a good QB we'll be right up there with the rest of the group in our division.
I'm not saying the caveman stinks. But like I just pointed out, you even have said that he's not looking to good because he lacks peices around him. That shows you his abilities. We have some pieces but no QB. Imagine when we get a decent QB, we'll be play-off contenders. There is no doubt in my mind.

Um, didn't the Rams trade down
twice last year? I remember after we picked Justin Blackmon, they traded the #6 pick they got from Washington to somebody else.
Quote:I just don't understand everyones love for the caveman. You guys talk like c'lots fans with your praise of the guy. He's nothing special right now. He needs to have a complete team around him to be good. Just like our QB will need.
I have hopes that our front office is better than theirs. For crying out loud they gave up their 1st round pick for Trent Richardson (yeah, he scored a TD today, he still was not worth a 1st RD pick), we're not talking about a franchise that is about to build some sort of Patriots like Dynasty. Same with the t'horns.
You guys need to calm down a bit. Yes, times are hard right now. But we're not the Jets or the Bills in a league with Brady at the helm, Belicheat at HC, and the Krafts as Owners. If anything, I like our Owner, our GM, and our HC better than the other guys in our division.
We have a chance here. It's just gonna take time. Cuz you know... We JUST FINISHED THE FIRST YEAR OF AN ENTIRE OVERHAUL OF THE TEAM. Just a reminder...
So you don't think Luck is that good?? I think Luck is very good and will only get better as he gets more experience. He got drafted by a 2-14 team and took them to the playoffs in his 1st year and is going again in his 2nd year, that's pretty darn good to me.
Is he elite?? Well that depends on your definition of elite. While I consider him very very good, I don't consider him elite yet, although of all the QB's taken in the last several drafts I consider Luck with the most potential to become an elite QB.
Is he Peyton Manning back there?? NO, but then again, there is only one PM. I'm glad he isn't PM, because that guy just owned the division.
I have a question for you if you don't think he's anything special. Would you take him on the Jags??

Who thinks there actually are starter-quality quarterbacks likely to drop to Round 3?
