Quote:The NFL higher ups must be giddy that a lot of Jaguars fans don't seem to buy into the tanking that their inter divisional rivals just pulled off that will in turn keep the Jaguars down for most of if not the next decade with Luck and Bridge.
Its like being robbed multi times and being in denial that you live in a bad neighborhood. smh... .gif)
You better stop
Look around
Here it comes, here it comes, here it comes, here it comes
Here comes your nine-teenth nervous breakdown.
Quote:The arrogance with which you post blows my mind. It's December and you're predicting the draft, telling everybody else they're wrong. Go fly a kite and quit taking yourself so seriously. You don't know your elbow from a hole in the ground.
Everyone is predicting the draft and I am just going along with it. Got a problem with that?
Quote:Not as many as you'd think. There is no point of reaching for an QB just to take a QB. Of course, if the QB we want is there at #3 (Bridgewater), take him. Otherwise get a stud at another position of need (Barr/Clowney) and take two QBs later in the draft to increase the odds that one pans out.
The "one we want"? Or the one youre obsessed with!
Quote:Everyone is predicting the draft and I am just going along with it. Got a problem with that?
Wait, are you threatening him?
Quote:Also, highly unlikely is not a double negative. Just an FYI.
Just to comment, since we're on the subject of grammar. You shouldn't be saying 'an FYI'. Since you' only should be saying 'an' when the next word begins with a vowel (though using it when an 'y' follows is acceptable and in most places common practice). I'm not usually the grammar police, but when you comment on someone else's, make sure yours is correct.
Quote:How many QB starved teams are there? And you want to wait til pick 39 to get one? I don't know about that strategy. I'd rather just get our guy now if he is the "guy" because by pick 39 you're looking at picking up the scraps.
The Texans, Raiders, Browns, and Vikings need to draft quarterbacks next year. Three of them pick after us in Round 1. All four pick before us in Round 2. So we need to get our quarterback at #3.

Oh my bad. You just told like four peeps they were totally wrong with your intense expert knowledge not only of this organization, but also the Rams and Falcons.
Let me wager a guess here.....you're divorced?
Quote:Wait, are you threatening him?
Of course not. Why would I do that?
I am just saying he is dead wrong to think I am being arrogant by playing the prediction gane too early.

I guess you can't understand the way I communicate. I never try to be mean, but often sound that way because of how I express myself. And no, I am not divorced - I was never married.
Quote:So we reach?
Not if Marcus Mariota changes his mind.

I dont think Bortles is a reach anymore. He looks pretty good.

I've noticed some big boards that didn't include him previously, now sliding him in at 33 , 35 , 38...
I wouldn't be surprised to see him climb from there into the 10-15 range on many boards (whether it's warranted or not.)

Go to the Broncos message board since you root for them....

Teams later in the draft may also be looking for potential developmental guys, especially if they are high on them. I'm just speculating of course. But even if they are not in the first round we still pick 7th [39] in the 2nd round which in my opinion is not ideal. There is plenty of time for the QB starved teams to get our guy. I think while we have a good spot at 3rd overall, our 2nd round pick is kind of limiting in terms of getting a good QB. After the 2nd things start get shaky in regards to QB, unless you think lightning strikes the league twice and the next Russell Wilson is sitting there.
Quote:Well, because they have to at least try to give the perception that they are trying to win, at the very least so they can convince the gullible sect of NFL fan that they are not tanking. They probably figured Schaub would get close but not enough to pull it out, which is pretty much what happened. McNair must have been nervous though in those last seconds. Probably radioed down to Schaub before that last INT that a $50,000 Christmas "bonus" was his if he threw one away, which judging by the zero Texans in the area, he clearly did.
In all my years on this board, I have never felt so embarrassed for you. And that's says a lot, because one of your absolute strengths is embarrassing yourself.
It's like you're allergic to credibility.
That last sentence is literally one of the dumbest things I've ever read on the internet.
THE ENTIRE INTERNET!!

Schuab was apparently all grins when he threw that final pick.

But it must be true, I read it on the internet! They cant put anything on the internet that isnt true.
