Best of luck you to you all from Corn City.
What the heck is going on with Jose? In the latest forecast the dude does a complete loop and then continues back W/NW towards the east coast of Florida. The forecast only shows the beginnings of the move W/NW but it's going to be something worth watching.

What a sucker you are. I bought one of those too but it doesn't need gas. He told me all I have to do is plug it in and it will work like a charm.

You do realize you haven't even begun to get the hurricane weather right?

How do you know? Have you talked to her neighbor Tomcat Deegan? Because I can't get him to answer my texts!

I was really surprised to see the power go out so early - thought it would not happen until Monday morning.

He probably dropped his phone in the litter box.

I will have you all know I just tested it and works like a champ. Has an 8 gallon tank too. I would have preferred propane in a perfect world, but I needed a generator.
Hi from Mobile. I left Tallahassee around 5:30 AM this morning. For what it's worth, if you're headed west, traffic was fairly light until getting into Mobile Bay around 11.
I lost power a second time after the missed PAT and did not get it back until late in the third quarter (under three minutes left).
At least I have the game to gloat over. I'll need that seeing as my house will be flooded sometime tonight.
Isn't the jags winning an away game one of the signs of the apocalypse?? Should we be worried now?

No kidding, right? Lol Don't worry,
the 82nd Airborne is on the way to assist!
More to the story at the link.
Fort Bragg is deploying nearly 400 soldiers and more than 110 military vehicles to Florida to help in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma.
The troops will include soldiers from the 82nd Airborne Division and 3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command.
As Irma bore down on the Florida coast Sunday, the soldiers on Fort Bragg began preparing for their mission.
Lt. Col. Joe Buccino, a spokesman with the 82nd Airborne Division, said soldiers were notified Saturday and put on “prepare to deploy” orders early Sunday morning.
The group of soldiers from the 82nd Airborne Division will be known as Task Force All American Lift. It will include 293 paratroopers from across the division, led by Col. Jon P. Beale, the commander of the 82nd Airborne Division Sustainment Brigade. They will deploy with 81 vehicles.

It's our penance for avoiding most of them.
