That could be fun... especially if you have a smoking hot neighbor that likes to wear bikinis or short shorts and tank tops while doing stuff outside (I have a neighbor like that   Big Grin ).
NFL.com provided some maps showing Hurricane Irma's path toward South Florida because the two teams down there are scheduled to meet Sunday. Stay tuned.

It was just announced that the game will not take place in Miami.  The "neutral site" mentioned in the article could be Everbank Field.

Not on Sunday in Miami might mean Friday or even Thursday in Miami.

What part of "will not take place in Miami" is so hard to understand?  It's not going to happen this weekend.  Only a euro would think about moving the date back.   Rolleyes  That's a pretty boneheaded idea since evacuations are being ordered as I type this for areas in south Florida.

I'm talking about moving the game forwards, not backwards, you numpty. They can be looking to play the game and fly everyone out right after with Dolphins playing in LA week 2.

That's just as dumb... if not worse...  play a game on Thursday then play another game the immediate following Sunday?

It's like talking to JW.

Yes talking to a euro is.

I think he is referring to the history of games being moved up to beat the storm before previous hurricanes. But that obviously would not apply in this case.
Yes, let's play a football game during a massive evacuation of millions of people, including everyone at the stadium. What could possibly go wrong?
Has anyone asked Jerry Jones what his thoughts are on this? No decision is final until Jerry offers his opinion on the matter.

Exactly.  Big babies in South Florida.  It's a little wind.

I wish you would stop oogling me like that.  I used to mow topless until you moved in.

Well that thong bikini thing that you wear...
Stay safe guys. Seems a lot more likely it's going to hit FL now.

If you got it flaunt it!
For those of you in the Jacksonville area, how is the gasoline situation? Are most stations out?

I'm in South Florida and last year during Matthew I considered driving to my family's house in South Carolina. Problem was every gas station I called from Melbourne to Savannah was out of gas. Considering that Jacksonville doesn't seem to be in the path, or at least in the direct path I imagine the hysteria is less than down here.

Why not.  Baseball players play every night.  We could get this season over in less than 2 months if the players would play every 3rd day then we could rightfully look forward to the draft in November along with the rest of the NFL.  Perhaps Bortles would thrive in a little faster paced NFL with fewer nights off.

Gas stations more than busy than usual but still got gas. Nothing in the local news about gas shortages.  Bottled water is gone from the shelves.
