"Had really moved on from moving Marcell, he had really played well last few wks but Dave [Caldwell] called & we came to decision it was a good chance for him to get a fresh start & us as we build this going forward" - Bills GM Brandon Beane on Dareus trade #BillsMafia

Just more proof for those of you that just want to give Coughlin all of the credit that DAVE Caldwell is doing much more behind the scenes than you think. Personally I think DAVE deserves more credit for this team than TOM. This is the team that DAVE has built, not the other way around.
Yep, he's doing a bang up job as Tom's secretary

j/k ... I kid, I kid

There's a lot of truth in this. ^

Dave is from Buffalo, BTW, for any of those who were perhaps unaware.

What the front office and coaches have been preaching since they got here is focus on winning. Win everything   Hell even win lunch (that’s a real quote). It’s not so much that he’s coming to a “strong culture” but he’s coming to a program that has their focus on winning with strong leaders in the locker room.

Culture may not be a word the team uses, but that is what they changed by getting tougher and becoming more disciplined.

You just reminded me Tom Coughlin is from Syracuse.

Not if Buffalo was a good team when Dave Caldwell was there.
Buffalo went to 4 superbowls during the time that Dave was a senior in high school - a junior in college.

I was referring to Buffalo in general, not the Bills.

It's a dirty city. The local music and beer scene is solid though.

Very true.

Back when we were bottom dwellers nobody came in here, just too depressing for them.

Yeah...kinda hard to fight back against trolls when you're 0-8.

At that stage, what's the fun in trolling?

When we sucked we were never 0-8 and were not trolled for signing good players from other teams.

Gotcha. My post was directed at JDub's post about  the bills having a good team back then.  I should have just quoted it.

I stand corrected.
23 pages for a 6th round trade? That may not reach probowl level again?

To be fair  -- I think it's around 16 pages about a DT that may finally help shore up our run defense, and 7 pages from a sour grapes bills fan that posts in buffalo long form.
I have only 10 pages.

Multiple off topic posts like these  will result in further warnings moving forward.  If you already know there are forum settings that change the number of pages in view for different posters -- there's no need for you to make an off topic post about having ten pages.  Pointless, off-topic, and bothersome.
