So, we have Donald, a no [BLEEP], lets get stuff done guy vs a bunch of people that wants to give the losers of the nation everything they want. Seems like a no brainer, but then, makes me wonder how many [BLEEP] losers do we have here? And how did we create so many losers? Is it because of the freedom? Sorry this country is so awesome that you’ve chose to suck at life. Not my responsibility to change it. Get a job. They’re going quickly.

My point being: Dems and pollsters thought that Hillary would win in a landslide against a "gameshow host." That seems to be the same thought now: Pubs & pollsters think Trump would win in a landslide against a "socialist."

My point also being: Unless the GOP (and, tongue-in-cheek, Russia) are successful in turning Dems on one another and ultimately minimizing voter turnout, Trump might have a surprisingly difficult November 3rd.

My Demoncrat family members have flat out said that if Biden isn't the candidate then they aren't voting, all the rest of those candidates are crazy people. I try to tell them Biden's cut from the same cloth, but they don't buy it.

I see what you did there. FWIW, I'm not hearing the same.

LOL

This is something.
According to Joe, half the country was killed by guns, and he is also running for a Senate seat.

Does anybody not love this man enough to say "Enough already"?

Get a job?  Apparently, you don't realize that the poorest states in the US are primarily those that are considered Red states.

Us Dems are primarily the ones with money and have benefited the most as a result of the tax breaks and prosperous stock market.

Back on topic, that was a disaster last night. They really need experienced mods that can control candidates talking over one another and sticking to their alloted time limitations. I had to turn it off after 45 minutes as the commotion wasn't mixing well with my Paloma (Tequila & Squirt mix -- just got back from Mexico -- very popular drink there)

Can confirm Palomas are delicious.  If you live in Jacksonville, Lola's on King St. in Riverside has a nice spin on one where they mix tequila with a low ABV grapefruit beer and put it in a salt rimmed glass sort of like a margarita.  One of my favorite drinks.

Saw a petition to have Tony Reali from Around The Horn be the moderator with his mute button. Awesome idea!

Thanks for the info, I'll have to stop by there sometime when i'm heading downtown and try a few.  Wife's been wanting to go down to the Arts Market so the proximity to Lola's would be perfect.  Just pulled up their website -- food looks great tood.

Yep, the mute button is a must !!!  I like when Tony says, "going on a 23 and a half hour break, cya again tomorrow at the same time"

The mute button may cut off the candidate speaking, but it is at the discretion of another individual, who may have a bias.  Interruptions will also remain an ongoing problem.  These "debates", just like last election's, are a joke.  In a true debate format, each candidate is asked the same question and receives the same time in which to respond.

The simple and most equitable solution is for all microphones to be off until activated.  The moderator poses the question, then activates only the responding parties mike, which AUTOMATICALLY shuts off at the end of the allotted response time (say 90 seconds?).  A "play clock" on the wall, counting down the remaining time, is clearly visible to all.  Each candidate receives 2 time extensions (30 seconds?) that he or she may utilize at any time during the debate by simply pushing a button.

Can confirm.  On on both counts.  But the question remains.  I’m sorry people took offense, but if we have 5-7 people trying to get elected as president offering the “losers” (sure, my words) every damn thing they want, what does that say?  They’re pandering to the wrong people.  Won’t get them elected.   Oh, you’re not eligible to vote? Vote for me! Oh, you can’t get your life in order? I’ll take care of you, and trust you to show up to the voting booth on the right day.  Seriously, C’mon.

Dont be sorry.  90% of Democrats are in fact losers.
It appears that Bloomberg "bought" the debate audience in South Carolina.
Whenever Bernie or Warren attacked Bloomberg, they were loudly booed while Bloomy did his best to hide a smirk.
The only way to attend the debate was to become a "debate sponsor", with sponsorships costing $1750 - $3200.

Is it just me, or does Bloomberg look exactly like Teller?

Bloomberg looks like Brad Wesley, the bad guy in Roadhouse.
You could tell from Bernie's reaction he knew the fix was in. His mild billionaire joke did not deserve such an obviously negative response, and he's pointing to the shills in the audience.
