Gus Loosey Goosey Bradley is just awful.

It's true guys. His daddy told him so. Leave Wolfies thread alone. It's very original and well thought out.

Should have hired Fisher
Yeah lets hire another rookie nfl head coach. Brilliant!
For all those saying no to the "Belichick coaching tree" Bill O'Brien was once an assistant in NE

I think a lot of us would take him over Gus any day

I think a lot of us would take a ham sandwich over Gus at this point.

I'd settle for a hard roll and some ketchup.

Billy O just got worked by his former boss.

I think looking at a tree or a successful organization is wrong.

That's how we got Gus.....

Find a guy, who can be a head coach. Not a players coach, or the recent coordinator of some hot team....

Find a Bruce Arians... a Bill Belicheat... a Tom Coughlin... (no NOT Tom Coughlin A Tom Coughlin...)

Hire the man. Not the playbook or the tree he comes from.

Forget finding the next Arians, I wish we had Arians himself. It'd be a dream come true.
I'll be glad when he's gone.. Getting tired of looking at him and his wife on my TV tryin to sell me furniture
Quote:I think Olson should stay. He's done a good job. Not every game is going to be Bortles throwing for 400.

There will be bad games and off days. We can bash the play calls all we want but Bortles wasn't executing yesterday, so Olson might have been trying to play it safe instead of throw an off Bortles to the wolves.

Just for the sake of continuity in not needing to learn a completely new PlayBook, Olson should get the season. On top of it, he certainly earned it with his success from last season.

Olson and the offense do nothing in the 1st half in most of games. BB gets his yards in the second half or when the game is out of reach.

Doesn't Blake have like 3 career 1st quarter TDs?

Correct.
The Jaguars have a -465 point difference under Gus Bradley...that averages out to -12.2 per game...
If you take away the 50 burger game our average margin of victory is 5.5.
We have the highest point differential so far this season in the only division with all negative point differentials (doesn't mean much yet but ouch).

This certainly surprises me,  considering the frequency of close games in the NFL.

Though Gus Bradley took over an extremely difficult situation,  the truth of matter is most NFL HCs don't even have the opportunity to be -465 in point differential.
Saw Gus at Publix. He went with a tuna and swiss sandwich. I asked why not the chicken tender sandwich? Told me it was about sweeping the corners and it taking it as a learning experience and an oppotuny to grow and compete. I also saw a bag of premium dog treats in his cart. I asked what kind of dog, he said he has no dog man that the treats are premium man. Gus is the man.
