Jack smith has denied Trump's lawyers latest request for an extension to an April trial date.

Smith doesn't get to deny it, the judge will decide next week.
Multiple outlets reporting a flip of Mar-a-Lago security employee:

A Trump employee who monitored security cameras at Mar-a-Lago abruptly retracted his earlier grand jury testimony and implicated Trump and others in obstruction of justice just after switching from an attorney paid for by a Trump political action committee to a lawyer from the federal defender’s office in Washington, prosecutors said in a court filing today.

The aide — described as “Trump Employee 4” in public court filings but identified elsewhere as Yuscil Taveras — held the title of director of information technology at Mar-a-Lago. He initially testified to a grand jury in Washington, D.C., that he was unaware of any effort to erase the videos, but after getting the new attorney “immediately … retracted his prior false testimony” and detailed the alleged effort to tamper with evidence related to the investigation of the handling of classified information stored at Trump’s Florida home, the new submission said.

Liberals like to call anyone on the right "deplorable", but all of this nonsense is truly deplorable, embarrassing and sad.

Liberals like to call anyone on the right "deplorable", but all of this nonsense is truly deplorable, embarrassing and sad.

It is embarrassing and sad that 74 million Americans were duped into voting for a blatant criminal.
He's been a lying, cheating, scoundrel his entire professional career long before politics and it didn't magically stop when he ran for, and took, office. His chickens have finally come home to roost, however.

What's even worse is that around 60 million of those misguided voters I mentioned still think he's worth their vote.

Of course, he's going to lose in a landslide (again), but those 60 million or so are going to be so disenfranchised, our political landscape will be screwed for a very long time.

Dude spent millions and millions of dollars convincing folks that didn't like American policy modernizing with the rest of the planet that they could just believe "alternate facts" (lies) and that journalists were just liars out to manipulate them. (which is a gross mischaracterization of the real issue with modern journalism and its lesser infotainment cousins that dominate our media)
As a result - many who felt their values were being diminished by modern culture took the bait hook, line and sinker.
THAT ^ was indeed a deplorable propaganda campaign. He manipulated vulnerable conservatives who felt marginalized. `

Just thought I'd provide you some context for that word you haphazardly attributed the misuse of to 81 million voters. Because - I can assure you 81 million "liberals" don't "like to call anyone on the right deplorable."
That is a load of bull [BLEEP].
Like many other left leaning voters, I have a high percentage of friends and family that vote differently than I do. They aren't deplorable. And neither are many conservative politicians.  I seek out rational policy coming from across the aisle. Like many others I want the politicians getting my vote to have a spirit of compromise in order to move us all forward. That trait exists in many politicians regardless of party, but is in a dire short supply these days on the whole.

I don't like it when people ignorantly use broad sweeping generalizations to mischaracterize millions of people.
It's lazy and serves no one on any side of any argument or debate.

If you want to label that as "triggered," that's fine.

I can handle that.

I thought the left didn't fat shame people?

First he is old, so who cares. Second he wears a bullet proof vest everywhere. You aren't seeing his true weight when you look at him. He has also lost weight since leaving office so who knows what his weight is.

It also could be someone entering the wrong value when Trump told them.

Lol, we all know that evwrything the left says about the Right is just projection.

We also at least know the 74 million Trump voters were real people, unlike the conjured votes for Mr. Potato Head.
The weight thing has to be trump messing with people. However trump has been known to tell a lie or two, so who knows? Some of us actually work hard to lose weight and stay in shape, so it’s not that nice to lie about it lol

It is appropriate for a prosecutor to notify the President that a specific high profile investigation is about to release indictments.  It is not appropriate for a President to direct that a specific person be investigated or prosecuted.  We can't know if either Biden or Trump specifically violated this principle, but we can infer from Trump's "flawless" phone call with Zelensky that he probably had similar inappropriate calls with his own prosecutors.  We can also infer from Hunter Biden's plea deal that Joe has also had inappropriate conversations with his prosecutors.

All that said

Trump committed crimes, and "the president behaved inappropriately" is not a defense on its own.

The frustrating thing with you, NYC and Marty is the corruption by both sides is right in front of you.  Heck the dems don’t even try to hide it anymore yet all you guys see is Trump, Trump, Trump.

They honestly believe that Joe Biden and the Dems AREN'T more corrupt than Donald Trump and that the country is better off with the Vegetable in the White House. I mean, you have to be absolutely blind to believe that crap, but it's clear that's what they believe for some reason.

Skimming a few millions off of some contracts is corrupt but it's small potatoes compared to ending a constitution that's been in effect for over 200 years.
