Quote:Case in point, if somebody was referring to me as a citizen of this country, they would be right.

Pointing out my losing vote is literally irrelevant... which is what's being done by the "OH MYY GAAWD CAN YOU BELIEVE TRUMP SAID THIS???" people.

Get over it.

Nobody reacts with amazement anymore, we're used to him. What continues to amaze me is the number of otherwise reasonable people who believe anything coming from Donald's mouth.

Quote:BTW; here's a poll showing the splits among age groups:

 • 18-24: 75% Remain
 • 25-49: 56% Remain
 • 50-64: 44% Remain
 • 65+: 39% Remain

So looks like the Me Generatiion has once again gotten their greedy little claws all over the benefits and prosperity and once they didn't need it anymore they voted to get rid of it leaving the younger generations to pick up the pieces. Seriously I can't wait until the Baby Boomers shuffle off their mortal coil.
Just about every poll and "betting odds" leading up to the vote count was flat out wrong. I don't doubt that a higher % of younger voters probably voted to remain, however at this point it's reasonable to doubt the accuracy of any brexit related poll.

Based on your stupid logic, why haven't any of you trumpettes congratulated JIB that trump is the republican nominee? I mean, JIB's a republican.

You know why, the same reason nobody goes into Texas and congratulates the people of Texas that they elected Obama. Because they would look like morons.

But hey, some people are into morons. Just don't come here and pretend that your spin is valid. Everyone gets that he made a mistake. The fact that you can't admit it is quite sad.

Scotland = UK. deal with it... or go ahead and try to argue around that again.

Just stop responding, bro. You just look sad now, and I'm beginning to feel for ya.
Quote:Yeah, everyone who disagrees with you should just die right? You should be ashamed.

As usual, people who are old enough to pay taxes generally favor less government intrusion.

It should also be noted that the youngest faction is more dependent on handouts "government services". And the eldest have the greatest sense of history.

You stop responding BRO
More young people voted to remain. Dont people get wiser as they get older?

The further you get from government controlled curriculum.
The Dow is down almost 600 points so far.
For the last 24 hours its been a perfect storm. I went into my movie (id4) thinking about how to respond to a stay vote, it looked like the polls leafing up were right. That's why yesterday saw an uptick. When I came out of the movie leave was over 50% and starting gaining elbow room.

So you are going to correct for the false expectation to "remain" and start pricing brexit into the market.

As jag said, a lotof this is knee jerk. The buying opportunities for long-term investors are going to get interesting.

As they say, you could make a poll say anything. Do you find anything odd about the numbers that you posted?
Quote:A Clinton win is a huge message. It says "the Republicans are so pathetic they couldn't beat the worst candidate the Dems have offered since Walter Mondale."

It also says the elites and those who control what we think and how to vote won as well. There would be no change. Same stuff we have had for the last 60 years or so.

The same thing can be said a out Hillary. Anyone tired of the hypocrisy back and forth?

The same could be said about a Trump win.

Considering the numbers that DF posted earlier, are you really surprised?

Whatever is done is done. People should get back to work instead of googling what might happen after the fact.

Wait 'til they find out they CAN'T leave the EU.

I need to point out my question because I don't have time to be on the board much more today, but here is what I'm pointing out.

The first group ranges in age from 18-24. That's a 6 year difference of age. The second group ranges in age from 25-49. That's a 24 year difference of age. The third group ranges in age from 50-64. That's a 14 year difference of age. Why the difference in sample age? Could it be because the person reporting it wants the results to specifically be skewed in a certain way?

Why not report a sample such as:

18-29

30-39

40-49

50-59

60+

I'll bet that the results don't look as skewed as the "selective" numbers.
