Jaguars 2015 Goals for Success:

1. Minimize the big injuries during the preseason. (Thomas should be back for regular season)

2. Blake Bortles shows that he has improved significantly.
(COMPLETE)


3. T.J. Yeldon becomes the back Toby couldn't be.

4. Luke Joeckel shows that he is a decent LT. (Showing that he is first-round talent would be great too.)

5. Improved play-calling. (Primarily offense)

6. Have Sen'Derrick Marks recover from injury.

7. Corners step it up. (Gratz, House)

8. Scobee Myers and Anger are productive.

9. Start out 3-0 or 2-1.

10. Get more than 6 wins.

 

I guess you can say they failed at number 9, and number 10 is in question.

It's just part of Jaguars culture that some people just can't accept anything as positive and/or improving. My favorite example was Garrard throwing four TD's and no picks and scoring a perfect QBR against the Cowboys in 2010. Came to the board to read the comments and a Mod was criticizing his play- "We'll never win another game with this guy..." No matter what Bortles does, there will angry folks throwing debris down from the Peanut Gallery.

Bortles will come good...he's going to get the first road win of his career against the bucs ,0-8 so far

I have been reading this board for years (first post). Jags fan since 1995.....

 

I swear some people on this board are so ignorant.

 

 

Andrew Luck- 2nd Season- 23 TDs and 3800 yards

 

Blake Bortles- 2nd Season pace- 32 TDs and 4100 yards

 

 

Guy is a superstar playing with the worst NFL head coach in modern NFL history. (8-29) is worst NFL coaching record in NFL history after 37 games.........give Bortles a real head coach and watch what happens.....

No wonder why Jags fans get a bad rap..... he's a top 10 QB in yards and passing TDs with a below average supporting cast. Most of you wouldn't know talent if you saw it. Best draft pick in Jags history when it's all said and done.....book it.
